Can I bypass leveling in other areas of the game and spend most of my time exclusively in the mine?
No. You have to play the regular game to get Voltaxic Sulphite so that you can play Delves.

Not gonna lie, I dont like this answer.

Because players should get an opportunity just to log in and go kill mobs at the endless dungeon if they are willing to do so. They should be able to bypass boring storyline, so that would be awsome if delve could be alternative to usual leveling and to overall usual game process.

I mean it would be awsome if in future you could implement the system like I can delve at level 1 for a huge underground journey with something like checkpoint scaling and stop like at level 80. Now THAT would be literally awsome.

Really hope you didnt do that kind of major changes just to see how players are reacting to delve and to listen to the feedback, but in the end, if players will like it very much, you will implement this kind of system.

This. Two days of chore for me every time. Minimum. I hate it. I'm hoping I can exploit it somehow and level in the delve despite the answers. If there's a way I'll work hard looking for it.

When developers announced delve, that was the first thing I was thinking about, that there is an opportunity just to play the whole game in delve. But I got really disappointed today.

How excactly does this work? Do enemies not killed within the light radius still drop items or not at all / any access to items not within the light radius? Sounds like a possible shitfest.

Well, treasure chests are in the darkness anyway and you have to manually pick those up in the darkness. Likewise, my understanding is that if you stray away from the Crawler and kill leftover mobs in the darkness, loot will still drop, just won't be picked up. Seems logical enough.

Probably, not. Unless you somehow get shaped/elder zones down there.

Maps don't drop, but there will be a city (room), which does drop them. Similarly, I am very confident that there will be shaped/elder rooms. They did say 'lot's of nice surprising stuff awaits you in the mine' and shaped/elder items wouldn't even be that big of a deal.
