" You need to get your cast rate to 3.75~ish because without cooldown reduction that's how much we can cast with PPs. I edited one of my items with +180 cast speed and got 3.76 cast rate. And of course check your flasks, charges and shock in config also. |

I want to report back some stuff after playing this build for 3 days:
-Really smooth to play even tho im at 3.19 ApS -Really strong even without indigon or arc enchant -I actually forgot to equip the watcher jewel and actually made T14-T15 maps without any issue, after goint into 280 depth i found out that i wasn't wearing after i noticed that i was not leeching ES, so it actually can handle a LOT of stuff without a expensive jewel (Mine has ligh pen+ES leech so it was EXPENSIVE) -Sometimes when im lazy i use arc+lw to boss's, it takes a bit more but they die no problem I also did all the guardians+shaper, only died on hydra because i lag there and died once to shaper because im bad at the game. I do still need to improve at playing both the build and the game. |

Hi, I am the CI guy. I have no idea about PoB, could you check my character (no watchers eye, vertex and MF version, and tell me if there is too much difference with your lowlife MF version? I have around 1k more ES without vile bastion, but not sure about how much dps loss, and around 10k ES with normal gear, but I took the melding passives with energy from within jewel

" I'll take a look later today. :) Might take a bit though since I am not to sure anymore on all the CI stuff. I would encourage you to buy a legacy Shav's if you are in standard and play the build according to the guide- It works as CI too, sure. But the advantages are marginal. 1k more ES won't matter much I feel like. You will still get oneshot by oneshot mechanics - and those that don't oneshot you are no problem with the build anyhow since we have kinda crazy ES-regen. That being said I will still take a look and try to see what I can squeeze out of your gear. :) o/ laters |

" Neat! Haha. Yeah, the build is quite strong without a lot of the items - thats why I added a Shaper and Red Elder in MF-Gear to the Video section to just show that. I would hope more people would read those reports from people like you and draw their own conclusions about the build- but alas. |

Hey Cyrix,
thought I'd chime in with a huge THANKS! for a great build. I just finished killing Shaper on my first attempt on any character. I watched your shaper video on page 1 and then said WTH! and proceeded to own him! Onward and upward! -------------- BTW, any secrets or tips for Hall of the GrandMasters? It's the only map I haven't finished. Tried once in mid 80s but failed (my fault, I'm sure!). Last edited by joNDel_x#3223 on Sep 27, 2018, 12:14:02 PM

" HotGM is a bit different - one needs to understand what is about. Basically it's a pvp map - all enemies in the map are basically player characters. Those characters got designed by Backers of the Game - and obviously some of those Backers made the most haggard/abusive characters they could. So the map itself from the get-go is more about knowing PvP/Character mechanics then anything else. The next thing you ought to know is that whenever you open the map the characters/enemies you encounter are drawn from a large pool of those characters people who backed made. Sometimes you get really annoying ones - sometimes you can breeze through the map. A good example of that would be that some of the enemies you will encounter will be characters who have taken the 'Chaos Innoculation' Keystone - making them immune to chaos damage. So if you play a Chaos-Damage based character (we are not one! just stay with me for the examples sake) you are basically screwed - other times you won't meet a CI Enemy and you are good to go. Now - For us the whole map and 99% of the enemies are not a problem. One thing to keep in mind though is that a lot of Characters you will meet have 'culling strike'. Meaning they will instantly kill you if you are below 10% HP. And since we are are LowLife we tend to be always below 10% HP. -> 1. So deactive one of your Auras linked to Bloodmagic. I tend to deactive Discipline. The second issue are characters with maxed out spellblock - TheSpiderQueenByDemi - Demi being a fairly famous PoEStreamer who made the build - is one of those annoying characters we can't beat out of the gate with our usual skills. That Enemy does only attack you with a whimpy dagger - but triggers a world of spells when you hit them - and block almost all the damage of your hits. The way to beat this character is to use a degeneration effect - something like Righteous Fire or - thats what I would recommend - a scorching ray setup. -> 2. Take the 'Balefire' unique scepter with you - socket into it 3 supportgems for scorching ray. The Scepter itself grants you lv25 Scorching ray -> proceed to just burn the SpiderQueenByDemi down. That's basically it. If you don't happen to stumble onto the SpiderQueen or a character like her this build can just blitz through the map as usual. -> 3. Otherwise play as aggressive as you can.
