Very very informative, I think it deserves a place on the first page build guide as it explains really clearly how the build works with, and without, indigon.

Maybe.

I need to clean up some references and fix some typos. The nod towards the expensive manamulti-support gems might be lost on people by now since I changed the op to use two blue one - which works for me personally with the spideraura also reserving mana but might not be optimal for others who should potentially shoot for at least 1 red socket.

Hey Cyrix, I now see you new frenzy setup. If I were to use a 3G 3B chest, would that work, what green gem would you replace and what blue would you use?
Not a huge fan of the indigon version from what I've tested. It feels a bit clunky while mapping if you're not level 100 and missing some mana modes, even when lowering frenzy mana cost. Plus the fact you have to ramp up the damage instead of a direct application is meh, and you sacrifice a bit of energy shield on the process. I tried a 4G2B shavronnes to have a 60-70 manacost. I'll stick with the vertex, and just get an enchant on it.

I was playing around with PoB trying many setups and I noticed one of your cobalt jewel has +17 dexterity. It's impossible as the max roll is +16 as you can check there http://poeaffix.net/jw-all.html.

It means you need an additional point of dex either on another jewel or the belt abyssal jewel else you can't equip sin trek. Or simply use rare boots instead with 270-280ES at the loss of some evasion.

I would propably replace culling strike.

For the blue ones - if you do not have corrupted Voidbringers yet - use curse on hit + conductivity + innervate/lightning pen. Calculate your own ramp if this works for you.

Alternativly to the curse on hit thing/you already have corrupted voidbringers I would use innervate, inc. crit. and PowerChargeonCrit.

Play around yourself and check your own ramp with the calculator.

Thats why it says Indigon is for lv95+ in the OP.

Indigon is also a playstyle thing, yes. The build works regardless and I often recommend the Vertex. For some reason people are frikking dense though when it comes to the Indigon and they go apeshit. I have given up on this by now. LOL.

You can just equip an amulet with ~30dex - equip your sin treks (who have dex on themself) and then switch the amulet back to chayula. There is no need to have 117dex without sin treks equipped if they give you 30 anyway.

Yeah, its possible I just fixed up the dex on one jewel while playing around instead of useing a talentpoint for one of the big +30 nodes. You have to adapt the talenttree to your own rares anyhow so I don't see it as a big issue. Thanks for the headsup though - I will correct that the next time I touch up the PoBs.

That won't work since sin trek requires 117dex, and you have 116 dex including the 30 provided by sin trek [Given you're using a +16 dex jewel as +17 is impossible]. I opted for additional dex on the abyss jewel since anyway there isn't any 4 perfects stats abyss jewel atm in Delve (double lightning spell damage, crit, es). I'll probably move the dex on a regular jewel once I can get my hand on a better abyssal one.

Finally fixed my CI version and killed red elder with mf gear. Changing Wrath by Purity of elements and getting some dex nodes to run all maps with MF gear. No watchers eye, no spider aura, no corrupted gloves, no shaper ring... just Discipline/Purity of elements/HoT curse on hit ele weak.

Next will try shaper guardians/shaper with same mf CI gear, it seems more tanky but less dps.

Ah, fair enough. That makes sense, yeah.
I wasn't 100% certain anymore how exactly the PoBs look. Thanks again. Your solution to the problem sounds pretty good!

Cool! I kinda do not think going CI is worth it myself. But then again I have no crazy legacy gear. Keep on rocking! :)

Hey Cyrix, I am thinking of just playing the Vertex version for now, this would mean that I wouldn't need to 6L my chest aye?

Would you think the vertex version of this build is still tankier and has more DPS than the life base elementalist "teleport behind you" character?

I have cleared much of the game life based, going to spec over to this when I have the currency built up, wondering if the vertex version is still going to be an upgrade, especially on defense, but also DPS?
