Question re:flask usage: Do you actually even use the flasks very often? So far, I find I haven't really needed them at all. Maybe more for end game bosses, but nothing in mapping/delving has called for more than what we put out by just spamming Frenzy...

I haven't found Voidbringers with the curse corruption and the right socket colors, so I'm using curse on hit+elemental weakness in my Frenzy chain until Vorici is L8.

Yeah... about flasks. Thats the thing, right? ^^ This build has so much Damage and Sustain its kinda telling that you dont even need to pop flasks at all. I put myself into the habbit of just hitting them randomly when I run around and ofc use them for bosses. But yeah - just spamming frenzy all day long is enough. You might wanna check the very first spoilertab in the OP. It might make more sense now. :P

Yeah that PoB follows the Guide really close. Almost as if you made a copy-paste mistake and copied the PoB from the Guide... wait.

Taking a look at your character in your profile: I am guessing you went for Practical Application for the Dex and Strength? Thats okay - you should try to work around that though longterm with better gear. But its good enough for a stopgap.

You follow the Indigon PoB without an Indigon. ^^ The Indigon PoB has a couple changes in it which increase its maximum ManaPool on the cost of a couple DamageNodes. As long as you dont have an Indigion and an manaexpensive Frenzy to make use of the higher Manapool (and subsequently higher recharge/leechrate) those investments in the talenttree are 'wasted.

Then again you blow up everything alreay without even flasks. So yeah - how much of what I just said you want to discard as purely academic is up to you. :P But I can only comment on the character I see in your tab. ^^

Also are you people actually playing the game? And complaining about not having enough DPS because you have damage troubles in the game? Or are you just senselessly importing your own character into pob and comparing numbers without knowing what you are doing?

Nope. Castspeed is an entirely useless stat for this Build. (or any Poet's Pen Build really) - well, okay. If you have vaal arc or something that you might cast a few times per map... But it is not worth investing into, no.

That's why I say read the op and follow the guide: :P None of the jewels in my PoBs or linked in the post have CastSpeed - how poet's pens work is explained too etc.

I'm guessing most of the people browsing this build is coming from the elementalist version of this, the teleport's behind you thread. If so I'd like to ask those people and of course the OP if he/she has any advice, when's a good point to start to transition? I've been slowly farming up pieces of the gear and my next gear pick up would be enlighten level 3/4(they're expensive >.< send help), mark of the shaper + elder ring setup, jewels to cap res(also is it important to balance res? the pob I got had 76% lightning res and 75% on the other two?), and shav's.

This is what I have so far,




and now I'm back down to 96c in my stash, but I'm confident once I get this build going that I can easily farm back what I invested. Also, the main reason for this question is so that I can start selling my previous items after I transition over to occultist and make back some currency.

I did not transition over from the other build, sorry. :( Insofar I can't help you that much - I played it a bit as a scion but didn't like it. I found bossing was a chore - the clearspeed was neat though.

Other users might be able to chime in and tell you more about how they went to transition over to this build.

In general there is a priority list of items available in the OP that tells you what to spend your money on and in which sequence. It is numbered for a reason.

The important thing to note here is that if you are in delve and want to play with fenumus spinnerets you also need the the fenumus gloves. Its - as far as I know - the only item that has the aspect of the spider aura available in delve. I might be wrong - I do not play this league - but its something to keep in mind.

In general I would advise people to take my statements in the OP seriously and use the League PoB and read the whole post.

It really saves you guys a lot of needlessly spent money if you read the OP.

Your Vertex is great - really solid rolls. Your Watchers Eye is okay. Your belt is also neat - but lacks ES on it. ES is the equivalent of HP for ES builds. The jewel you have is great, more of those :P. The Auras you might have trouble useing right away without an lv20 bloodmagic/lv3 enlighten.

Balancing resists is only for bismuth. It is not important.
