i added that line im sitting at 5789 now i just need to divine my es on gear correct?

After i played the hell out of my coc (char :D ) i decided to go with a nice map clearer build and maybe deep delving.Dunno why, but my char is really squishy against those syndicate bastards and tougher bosses. My dps is clearly not enough, but the only thing i can do is to get better jewels or lvl21 arc.But how should i get good jewels if i need a lot of strength-dex and resists too.I got these from my jewels because my belt and ring lack them... :(

" Read the OP, run Vile Bastion, put Quality on your Vertex/get a new one. Your Ring has no ES - the enchant on your Belt does not do much. Craft Strength/Dex ES or whatever else you need on it. Devine your Watchers Eye for a higher ES on Hit roll. Get a Crystal Belt if you still feel squishy + rare helmet and better boots. Abyssal Jewels are also an option. Atziris Acuity's as well. The usual. Last edited by Cyrix1337#4098 on Jan 26, 2019, 7:38:05 PM

Made a magicfinder a couple of days ago, ran through the story and did some breachstones to quickly get it up to a decent level.

Farming ~250 delve cities/bosses, T16 underground seas and t15 tower maps with sextants and scarabs. Really fun so far! I didn't want to drop any quantity from rings so I put warlord's mark in my chest instead, which means no culling strike for parties sadly. Could swap to a ele weakness corruption on gloves but I play mostly solo so don't really want to throw out 6 more ex Transcendent flesh at the west jewel socket gives 40% crit multi. Not bad for a 20c jewel Last edited by allana#1483 on Jan 27, 2019, 3:50:39 AM

I've been playing this build for the past few weeks now, and its super awesome overall. A few ideas for others running this that improved the overall quality for me:
I'm running a tri-curse setup on this (grabbed Whispers of Doom in top-left of passive tree) that is absolutely ripping through everything and still reasonably tanky, with 8.1k ES currently. Picked up warlords on ring, enfeeble on gloves and ele weakness in 6L shavs curse-on-hit setup with lvl 4 enhance for -50% ele resistances. Im a bit short of 5.0 APS currently (4.8 aps with flasks + charges), but with a bit more tweaking / few more levels it should be attainable. Current links(4g2b) - frenzy, faster attacks, gmp, ehnance, curse on hit, ele weakness. If you can get Ignite % chance on your ring or a jewel, I think Cinderswallow is a solid flask option as it gives onslaught (+Attack & Cast Speed), +crit strike chance (make sure to buy one with this roll on it), and ES recovery on-kill. If you have the budget, grabbing an Unnatural Instinct jewel, pathing down through Harrier, and dropping it in the jewel socket there is absolutely huge (right now mine is giving 26% spell dmg, 7% att speed, 9% cast speed, 8% max life, 9% MS, +5 dex + 5 int, +45% crit multi). I swapped up the tree a bit, de-speced out of the spell damage nodes coming off of the witch root node, and instead connected the tree from Deep Wisdom, through Heart & Soul, to Arcanist's Dominion. Furthermore, we pick up the 'Cruel Preparation' node nearby. This is all done so that we can drop an 'Energy From Within' jewel into the socket next to Instability on the tree, which converts all +life to +ES within its range. Doing this gave me ~+1k ES over my prior setup. Despecing the branch from your root node to Arcanists Domain gives you 5 points, which is the same number you'll need to re-path through + pick up the extra nodes listed above, so overall no net point loss. I tried this build with both vertex and indigon setups, I personally preferred the vertex (as the original guide author alluded to for most players), as it gives us more flexibility with not needing lvl 21 blood magic / lvl 4 enlighten, which in turn lets us lower our str reqs overall for the build (blood magic is the str ceiling required, and your str cap should be as close to that # as possible), so if you can run a lvl 19 or 20, you get more flexibility in gem + jewelry affixes. If you can grab a helm with the appropriate mana reservation enchantment to be able to run 6 auras, and you want to run 6 auras, awesome. Otherwise, I would recommend dropping whichever aura you feel to be least valuable from your gloves (I personally dropped arctic armor, but HoT may be another option), and replacing it with a lvl 4 empower on the glove link. This will give +3 lvls on the other 2 auras running on your gloves. This also opens up the implicit slot on your helm, allowing for a pickup of a +2 aura/+2 AOE socketed gems corruption, boosting discipline and purity of elements further. Overall, you're basically trading one aura for +3 lvls on two glove auras, and +2 lvls on your two helm auras. Anyhow, just my opinions on the build for anyone looking to mess around with it a bit, Im sure other people have way better ideas ha. |

Y'all should be really careful about your attack speed.
@arelil I can see you're aiming to get 5 aps but I don't see any cooldown reduction on your boots since you use spinnerets nor on the belt. And you guys should really be careful about these ideas of running onslaught etc... Unless you find a way to get in permanently for mapping and bossing you should avoid attack speed fluctuations. @Cyrix1337 You should really put the poet's pen cooldowns and attack speed brackets on every paragraph of your guide lmao. Too many people seem confused and get shit dps/leech. |

" Good point, I can pretty easily drop the 30 str off my belt (pick up a 30 str node instead), which frees up the suffix for cdr. Spinnerets can probably also be replaced as well with well-rolled sorc boots. Before I change up the build, I've been following the aps + cdr talk over the last week or so; but to clarify running cdr allows you to get over the natural 0.25s cooldown on poets pen, meaning you would need 25% to hit 5.0 aps (with the requisite att speed needed to get to 5.0 aps as well), correct? As to onslaught, I've found with my setup I have cinderswallow up 100% of the time during mapping. Last edited by arelil#3889 on Jan 27, 2019, 6:09:36 PM

" You need at least 27% cooldown reduction to be in the 4.95-5.05 attack speed bracket. With 8-26% cooldown reduction you have to be in the 4.25-4.32 aps bracket Without any cooldown reduction you have to have around 3.75 aps, 3.78 being the maximum. If these brackets aren't respected, you will lose damage and survivability. The problem with onslaught is that you'll never be able to keep the same attack speed for mapping AND bosses. I don't recommend using temorary attack speed boosts at all on PP builds, this is not an attack build. The thing is that I never saw someone pulling off the 5aps/27+% cooldown reduction properly. The damage seemed always low even though you proc more spells per second. The survivability gain compared to 4.25 aps is also weak (41 hits per second with all your spells and attacks instead of 35). @Vietcongg There are a few variations if you have a high budget. https://pastebin.com/ZZZxSzjG This was mine. Quite a high budget. Some people might have a way better gear than what I had by now. You can obviously use a vaal regalia for delving only. For gloves, I think all the 3 options are totally viable ( corrupted voidbringers, rare crafted gloves (never saw someone linking some good ones but I think some crafts could be amazing) or atziri's acuity). For helmet and boots I would recommend using rares (lightning pen on helmet and cooldown on boots) that seem superior. Rare jewels can also cost anywhere from 3 to 5 or more exalts if you want triple crit multi + an additional useful stat. Obviously you could build a bit more defensive than this and invest a couple of skillpoints into ES and get more ES% mods on jewels because you don't really need 5 million dps to clear the content.
