I've not had much time to grind this league, so my finances ahve been super slow. The order I went in was: Shavs/vertex/sin trek, 5 link, 1 pen, buy an elder ring and craft an interim Warlord's Mark ring (to sell later when I craft a better one and have found the spider). Grabbing placeholder jewels during this to patch up resists/stats. After that go straight for a second Pen.

Second pen and gem levels is all you need to crush red maps, you don't need Ball lightning until guardians and lightning warp is one of the strongest defences in the game :D

After that I'd go : Presence, 2 more pens (both at once preferably), spider aura+boots and/or Watcher's Eye, maybe look at jewels, maybe look to buy a 21/20 vaal arc (or make your own). Build is so strong at mapping without any of this stuff though, there's no hurry to min max (and it's nice to have the weapon switch free to level gems in to start anyway).

The attack speed breakpoints are already calculated:

0-7% 3.75 aps
8-26% 4.286 aps
27-51% 5 aps

So just get your attacks per second with frenzy to the 4.28ish region.

edit - you can check if your aps is too fast with ball lightning spam, if you're missing balls in a regular pattern that means skipped casts likely due to too much attack speed.


edit2: doh, just realised that you're asking how to set it up in pob to show your dps. Sorry, working nights and browsing the forum to make up for not getting to play.

Quick way is to make your arc skill show the same cast time as your frenzy (add a cast speed modifier to something), so if your aps is 4.2 change the modifier until your arc cast time is also 4.2.

Was thinking maybe hitting it with vorici bench to get some juicy white sockets in there, that might help.
Want to switch the setup of the boots to put the phase run there, i don't really need my vaal storm call setup anymore.
