Won't that new all intelligence cluster help with damage? It's got 70 to intelligence plus 8%.

Actually I just noticed also that that intelligence cluster also adds more energy shield than three of the 6% energy shield nodes.

I just tried the 3.7 conversion in PoB (nice new feature!) on my cheap BF version of this build, and it show my BF damage about the same but my energy shield up by another 400+. That from taking the new intelligence cluster.

I will be anxious to try it out again, especially since I also use cyclone on mine. Cyclone damage significantly increased as well.

Close to 4m shaper dps actually xD

Or 2.3m wild strike, if you prefer better clear speed

So yeah, nerfs didn't really hit us at all

What does it look like with MS for curiosity?

Damage will be halved compared to 3.6 (+-)
I'm not home...I assume the revised gems aren't in PoB yet?

They are not, but build still will achieve 2-4m shaper dps, depending on which ability you will use. ES was actually increased thanks to new powerful int nodes

That sounds promising. Now to choose my starter melee build, will have to play around in PoB tonight.
For bossing, it looks like MS might still be more dps (with decent AOE clear) despite the massive nerf. The biggest question is whether hitting one target while targeting elsewhere will still spawn additional balls from ancestral call.

Even at a 50% dps drop, running the old Point Blank tree (with the new int / %int nodes added) seems comparable to Blade Flurry dps-wise while likely faster for AOE clear.

Alternatively, reave / frenzy might be a strong clear/bossing option. It has the benefit of not swapping between channeled / non-channeled skills, and Ruthless + multistrike might be an incredible combo if the damage multipliers for the 3rd hit line up.

Calling it now...MS is going to feel janky af with having to hit an enemy. I honestly think most players are used to running and gunning with MS and not worrying about targeting in it's current form. I hope I am wrong. However, I think MS is dead....for now.
