[3.3][Guide] Detailed Guide to Sustaining T16 Maps

Sustaining T16s in SSF is not possible. A decent amount of the racers to 100(including TheUberElite last league) mentioned T13 being sustainable in SSF with a shaped strategy but you're not just running T13s at that point because of currency drops.
Building a huge map pool of shaped T11-t15s and consistantly switching between those maps is a better strategy in SSF or for players with less knowledge about the Atlas, desirable maps and investment.

I figured as much; I'll make note of that in an edit.

As for that run log, here are the results from the first 20 maps. Drops from the Temple of Atzoatl were not counted. Divination cards that exchanged for currency were directly exchanged, and superior gems were exchanged for GCP. The CurrencyCop count after 20 maps was 1449.61 chaos, not including a few decent Shaper and Elder bases that will probably sell for 50-100c in total, a 14% Wise Oak, as well as an ilvl 83 Searching Eye Jewel. All runs were done with a Bisco's Collar and Divination Distillate on a Pathfinder, with the latter kept up maybe ~75% of the time.

20 maps returned 18 T16 maps, not including ones from the Temple.

If we're conservative there and say that all the uncounted stuff sells for 50c, our total revenue is about 1500c. Our revenue per map is 75c. Each run costs about 40c (1 EUGS, 4 chisels, 1 alch, about 5 chaos, 1 vaal, 3 fragments). Our profit per map, as expected, was about 35c, though we'll see how that changes when the sample size is quintupled.

no prophecies?
I think it works better if you corrupt the low pack size maps, not the high ones.

Because one of the corruption outcomes is a 4-6 mod re-roll, and that can turn your 30% pack size map into a 20% one. Meanwhile, if it re-rolls a 20% pack size map, it can only get better or stay the same, not worse.

Nice Guide.

I'm having trouble getting T16 Elder Underground Sea Maps to start. I've sealed all the natural T15 + T16 Maps. And running shaped T15 Belfry but I can't even sustain T15 Maps.
I've run ~12 shaped Belfry maps without even getting 1 Elder Underground Sea Map.

A few questions inc.:

1. Do I have to seal my other shaped T15 Maps? (Siege and Arachnid Tombs in my case)
2. Do I have to seal the Vaal Temple T16 map?
3. Do I have to roll shaped Belfry like the Elder Underground Sea Maps? Like vaaling them, using sextants etc?
4. Do I have to have Elder/Shaper Influence on Belfy for farming Elder Underground Sea Maps?
5. How many Elder Underground Sea Maps do I have to own to start running them?

Sorry for that many questions.

Edit: I've chatted in-game with the author and I'll share the answers here to let other people know:

1. No.
2. No.
3. Yes, roll them at least to 85/25. Sextant usage only when you have plenty. No Fragments.
4. Definitely yes. It's a huge bonus for returns.
5. Preferred ~30. You can try with less but it depends on T16 Map drops.
Map: "Area is inhabited by Goatmen"
Templar: "Heavy breathing"

Nice guide, even tho i still have a question.Im trying to sustain Arsenal map (T12),atm i have my atlas with 101 maps completed no t12/t11 and still hard to sustain this map.
Do u have any tips for me ?
Hey didnt play since 3.3, did anything change to this strategy?
Why should you undo T11 and T12 maps when UGS isn T16? I thought you only needed to undo T16’s in this case. What am I missing?
