[3.5] Ghoulish Overkill! Zombie+Skeleton Baron build

All this time killing Red Elders I was noticing a couple of things about this build.Even when I was fighting T15 Elders, I never used my life potions, never died, never even had a close call.Apart from that, I was shield charging here and there and moving around the screen for better looks of what's what, but then realized moving wasn't necessary to "win" the fight.I was just zapping around out of habbit. So today I tested while farming Elder.Too bad I got only a T11 Elder and not a T14 or a T15.
So I present you:
T11 Red Elder, without potions in belt, stationary whole fight, deathless:

the retardness rages on!
you should rename the forum thread/build into something more appropriate and catchy like: "trololol the Atlas" or "summon retardation, spread tar"
You thing I khare, but I realy dond.

Depends on how good your leveling gear is.

If you need the resistances early.
Commander of Darkness > Invoker > Flesh Binder > Bone Sculptor

If you don't need the resistances early.
Invoker > Flesh Binder > Commander of Darkness > Bone Sculptor

If you need resistances right before/after Kitava
Invoker > Commander of Darkness > Flesh Binder > Bone Sculptor

So much life...dude how?
I'd really like to see your character :O

My real life though is 6.337 and E.S. 1.190, in the .gif during U.Lab I have a life buff from a divine font :D
My pastebin:

My items, nothing fancy on the rares, I bought the sceptre like 10c when incursion was merged with standard, before that I was using a sword with 55 strenght and 30% cold resists to cap my resists:

Ok I just saw my chest again, well it's pretty fancy but I dropped it like that and divined it to get the max rolls on the tiers it has.
Lvl 94 character so I have a lot of life nodes picked, which I am planning to "unlearn" and take more mana/mana regeneration nodes.

Which Spectres are you using?
Tried this as my league starter, has been pretty fun so far. Still in yellow maps as my map drops seem to always suck. Bound fossils seem to be really cheap and you can get the resonators for like 100 azurite fron Niko.

Threw a few of those at some random scepters I found in one map and got an ok scepter:

If I tried to craft a better one, what would be the best base? Highest ilvl you can get and fastest attack speed?

In delves convocation seems to help a lot since otherwise the zombies wander around in the back.

Mana seems to be a bit of an issue for me. Got around 1500 unreserved mana but its still sometimes gone and then you cant shield charge out of trouble. Hoping for the +2% regen boot enchant but havent had the luck with enchanting yet, but have been carrying a mana flask for safety now. Dunno if Clarity would help, but dont have a free gem slot for that atm.

edit. How do you guys bind your buttons? Now that I got vaal skeletons I had to drop raise zombie off. Now if my zombies die, I have to switch binds again. Currently my binds are move, spirit offer, smite in mouse and keyboard has shield charge, summon skels, convocation, vaal skels and desecrate.

Thats the problem with the build, you don't have the spell slots(not gem sockets) to cast all the gems you would like. You have 8 slots.
1 always reserved for moving/clicking aka the left mouse button.
2 Shield Charge.
3 Skeletons.
4 Vaal Skeletons.
5 Spirit Offering.
6 Desecrate.
7 ???
8 ???
You can put Convocation there or Zombies.
Now a lot have been added since the Delve, like smite and some other gem.Personally I dont know what they do.I dont feel I lack something to add something. So I dont even bother.
I also find pressing the left mouse button too stressing for my finger, so I 've put "move" in another slot, binded with spacebar.
Now that I changed into the MoM variant of the build and I have the mana to raise Zombies during fights, I have at the last slot Zombies. But to tell you the truth, zombies rarely die in maps and bosses, unless a lot of factors contribute together.High tier map with serious map modes and crazy bosses, an example "Acid Lakes Boss".
Spectres:
a.Defently Diabolic or DIabolous the tall monster that casts enfeeble
b.Undying Evangelist, it casts flameblust and proximity shield aka no damage bubble.(I never felt it did something)Far better for projectile defense is CwdT - FrostWall, but we dont have gem slots for that.
You thing I khare, but I realy dond.

This is from the PoB in 1st post. Should be the same now i think. It's what im using and everything just falls over.

Just wanted to share my experience with this build.

I wish i had read the tips on leveling before. It wasn't painful but a bit slow to level with Zombies all the way. Would probably have done it differently and respecced at 70. (Someone mentioned respeccing at 70 to have more or less 1000str , i respecced and had 1017str so very good guess imo.)

I have tried a couple of times to run with spectres and they arent worth it in my opinion. Ran Diabolist and The Shield dude but they die all the time. Cannot take the beating me and my Zombies take.

Instead i run a CWDT with Enfeeble/Immortal call and Increased duration.
Im an old man so i need the half second longer to react to damagespikes that Immortal call gives me.

Regular mapping i just zoom around with shieldbash and let the Zombies destroy everything. Pop Vaal skellies on boss.

Pushing harder maps i press Spirit Offering and sometimes summon skellies.
Otherwise the same.

I really like the build and it's probably the best character i have right now.
I am more of a casual player though.

I think my characters are public if you wanna check them out. (For some reason i get NO manaflasks dropping so havent made one yet... :)
So how is that build at delving? Im a bit over 100 and slowly start to loose zombies (are only lvl 19). Anyone got some hints? What is your max depth you reached?
