Hint1:Because 16 zombies are a lot and if 6 linked worth something like 190 mana, unlink the 5 support gems and spam the single zombies which cost something like 20-25 mana... then put back the supporting gems.

Couldn't you just have a blood magic gem in the inventory and drop that in over 1 red... cast then swap back?

The most retarded build I 've played so far on the road to 1.800 SRTENGHT
currently 6.190 life, 1.621 strenght
Hint1:Because 16 zombies are a lot and if 6 linked worth something like 190 mana, unlink the 5 support gems and spam the single zombies which cost something like 20-25 mana... then put back the supporting gems.

Hint2;Since this build is life and due to its retarded life regeneration + life flasks + stone golem + convocation you can afk on traps at trials or labyrinth.

The clear speed is goodish but single target is retarded and if the boss chooses to aggro your minions and not you then the retardation explodes to new hights. You can simply go afk or telephone your girlfriends.
I find zombies squishy, so personally I replaced concetrated effect with minion-life for now. If I manage to corrupt zombie gem to lvl 21 we will see.
I dont find zombies slow? Do you guys have haste aura + frenzy charges (the node that gives shield properties to minion instead of you + victarios shield).
I have captured video with clear speed on a map + abyss clearspeed + abyss boss. I think this build as I have it right now can do at least t12-t13 elder and maybe shaper. I will try them today or tommorow and capture video.
My gear:
Rarity: Rare
Luminous Splinter
Crimson Jewel
--------
Item Level: 80
--------
+15 to Strength
6% increased maximum Life
+12% to Cold Resistance
--------

Ascendancy as the OP (original poster)
Bandits kill all for 2 passive nodes that give me more than just 15% resistances, so better than picking Alira's favour.

I like it, the Elder chest is a nice addition. I wish you the best reaching 17 zombies.
To agree to previous: RETARDED BUILD if ever I saw one.
Now reached maps, still with Tabula and 1213 STR so far.

Can do T11-12 maps from the start with level 72... nough said.
Zombies are hilarious but even with Haste and Frenzy they are kinda slow.

So I'm thinking (tho it hurts my man, it hurts) ... either Minion Speed gem or switch to Flesh Offering during clear. What do you think? True, it means slam cooldown is longer than multistrike attack but in reality during clearing I think the occasional normal attack instead of slam is more than mitigated by the increase in move speed.
For boss switch back to Spirit Offering certainly as it has the most DPS and chaos is great vs bosses anyway.

Right now I can cast 3-4 skeletons before zombies reach farther-away targets. THis is the only limitation I see for they just RAPE everything, then eat the corpse, cought it up and rape it again. SICK SICK SICK :D

PS: Just tried switching to Flesh Offering and it really helps with the speed.
PPS: Depends on map mods, tho. Just lost all my zombies in splitseconds to crit+ele damage T11. With many damage mods you're forced to use Spirit Offering all the way it seems. However, my zombies are level 18 right now so maybe with 20 it will be better.

PPPS: Phys reflect maps will gib your zombies, I think switching skelets to 6L is the best way here. They still kill relatively fast combined with Spirit Offering.

Phys reflect can be handled by swapping Phys to lightning into the zombies in place of concentrated effect.

I also highly recommend the MoM variant I posted last night. It is both tankier and has faster minions than with haste.

Here is everything I am currently using in hardcore. I am sitting around 8000+ EHP (armor and gloves give ridiculous ES) and soul offering heals my ES back to full with mistress of sacrifice and it's fantastic. Things were just dying so fast I now use summon vaal skeletons in a spell totem.

the problem with Skelton's in spell totem is that if you're using bone sculptor they are going to start overwriting your older skeles after 2.5 seconds and your skeletons DPs will suffer heavily. Or if you don't have bone sculptor then your only summoning one Skelton per .6s and they can miss. This means your skeltons lose over 40% of their damage to accuracy issues and lack of bodies. At those levels they become almost unneeded.

On a different note though. I do agree with shapers touch in the build. Mainly as fuel for Mind over matter. I don't agree with the Sanctuary, but I don't think it's bad, just makes this into a different build. If you want to use Sanctuary I'd recommend Low Life Baron instead.

I am seriously thinking of abandoning the road to 1.800 strenght and drop down to 1.500 strenght with the new shaper gloves MoM thing. Seems it offers far more tankiness, but to tell you the truth I am already very tanky. Can you say more about the MoM build and share the Path of Building thingy/url or whatever its called so I can see your jewels and gems too? Thanks.
By the way TokeMcBong is the same guy who originaly posted this thread?
Edit: do we still need strenght a lot in the body armour? Because for the MoM build we can use some really nice shaper body armour that have stats like +1 level to active gems and 10% of damage taken from mana or 10% of physical damage taken as cold/fire etc.

The way I currently have it setup you would need strength on chest to reach 1200+(until around level 95 ish). It could be swapped out with 2-3 skill point tweaks. An elder/shaper chest with mana functionality is also a great option. I haven't found one for myself yet, but I am looking into it.

I am not the OP for this thread. I am however his friend and guildmate, and he and I have been working on this build now for 3 leagues.

The PoB links will be going in shortly, hopefully soon I can start using pastebin again. However nothing major on gems/jewels has changed besides what I posted.

I dont have bone sculptor and I stuggled to find a 4-link in my baron to use. At least with skele's.... I can use summon vaal skeletons.

Any other ideas for a 4 link given my setup?
