Hello,
Fantastic build so far, I'm leveling this in SSFHC right now and it feels great, thanks! I love slows too, and this looks extremely slowing and fun to play :) I have a small request for the guide (as it seems geared towards new players too): could you please elaborate a bit more on EE and add the note about cold damage you use on rare weapons to jewelery and gloves too? I made a couple of small modifications (my char is level 55 atm, so this might not work later on, but for now it feels great):
I also figured out a neat trick with Charged Dash: you don't have to let go of the button as soon as you reach 4 stages, you can let your 'ghost' pulse in the target area until you want to go there. This allows you to apply EE/Curses and direct your Zombies to the mobs you want them to kill without having to move into them |

" I really like your setup! It's an excellent idea to add your curses to your movement skill. Convocation and Haste are great to incorporate too. My personal setup is only for play style preference, not maximizing. So your ideas are great! Don't forget that removing Enhance (level 2) from your curse links drops enemies' slow % from 71% to 58% (if TC and Blasphemy are at 20 quality with all the curse improvement nodes selected on the tree). Most people wouldn't care (I do ;) ). I really like all the changes you made! One thing to keep in mind since you're SSFHC is the HEAVY hitting bosses at the end. With Mon'tregul's Grasp, my Zombies are at 50'000 health and can't survive the some late game "one-shot-kill" encounters. The only way to get them out of some one-shot kill mechanics is by self casting Convocation. So get real used to using Convocation if you're not setting yourself up to switch to Mon'tregul's Grasp or using Minion Life in your sockets. (I'll include this warning in 3.4's update.) I'll re-work how I word EE. It'll be done shortly after I post this. I appreciate the suggestion. Your trick with Charged Dash is great to discover! It's my favourite movement skill (except for Phase Run which I had to exclude this go around). I really like what you've done! Have fun the rest of the way! SSFHC is crazy :) https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast Last edited by Wrecker_of_Days#7691 on Aug 14, 2018, 3:25:27 PM

I've added an explanation for Elemental Equilibrium. It's under Passive Tree-Passive Tree Explained.

Hey, how's it goin?
I'm currently trying out your very cool slo mo zombie build, with the basic gear that I've picked up this last league, to see if its a good direction to go in delve. I'm a pretty casual player with not much XP, and I like to keep it simple, easy to play, and without specific gear req., as I generally play SSF, or in a static group. So far I'm really enjoying it, and you've laid it out and explained it briliantly, but I have a few nooby questions, which probably have simple answers that my inexperience is just missing. 1. How can I run 2 curses at 35% reserve each, plus hatred at 50% reserve, and clarity all at the same time, when its technically over 120%? 2. Is EE strictly self activated or does group damage alter its effects? Cheers |

"Hey! Thanks for the message and the compliments. Answer to Q1: The tree has a bunch of nodes all spread out that reduce a % of mana reservation. In the tree that I suggested, we'll have selected all of the nodes that reduce mana reservation on the north of the tree. We ignore the one near the Duelist starting point. (For 3.4, I'm considering removing Hatred and adding the Brutality Support gem to Zombies. DPS would go down a lot but I could then use all the mana reservation nodes for more health for me...It would also let me do maps with Reflect Elemental Damage...hmmmmm.) Q2 Answer: GGG is very picky and exact with the terms they use. Sometimes it's really easy for us to accidentally overlook some details. EE says, "Enemies YOU hit with Elemental Damage...". So, if you're playing by yourself, you are the only one that can initiate EE. Minions cannot initiate it, just you. If you are playing with other friends, only players that have EE selected on the tree can initiate EE. If you all have EE...well, let's hope you've organized your elemental damage as a group ;). Now, once an enemy has a debuff of any kind, from any player, it's on the enemy and it affects combat from every source (all players and minions). So, since minions can't initiate EE, they can't change what element enemies are resistant and vulnerable to. So EE is currently perfect for minion builds. Oh! Spells cast from Cast When Damage Taken count as YOU casting the spell. So it works with EE too. I hope that answered your questions. If it didn't, let me know and I'll try again (ask anything else you like as well). Keep in mind, in three days GGG is posting 3.4's patch notes. They have hinted to lots of minion changes or additions. So what works well in 3.3 may change for 3.4. I'll be posting a link to my 3.4 build guide as quick as I can after the release of the patch notes. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Thank you for your reply,
That explains things perfectly. Ill have to have a closer look at the tree and find those reduce reserve nodes, and I'll definitely be following this thread to see how the build progresses after the patch. Cheers |

Hey All,
I'm looking for some feedback. What is it that you like about the build? Or I guess I should ask, "what do you hope stays for 3.4"? The Slow? The rare items only? Having a shield? What would disappoint you if it was left out of 3.4? I know the Dev manifesto and patch notes are coming within two days from now, but for those of you still following this thread, let me know. Thanks! TriNiParty/Wrecker of Days https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

I downloaded your filter and its working great btw. Do you recommend using it for levelling, or should I use something a little less specific from the start to have some more options for early gear?
It doesn't look as though there are going to be any major changes, aside from the added (or relocated, I'm not sure) minion nodes, which should improve the effectiveness early on I guess. No word on charged dash being on the list of modified movement skills? |
