Super Slow Mo! (No uniques required! Made for new, physically challenged, & SSF gamers.)(3.3)

Hello, fresh news from my leveling.
Act 2 leveling

Skill tree:
1st: road to and Death Attunement and whole circle at lvl 25

used skills:
Raise Zombie -> Minion Damage -> Melee Physical Damage
Shield Charge -> Additional Accuracy
Desecrate
Flesh Offering
Clarity

Died 2x at Vaal Omnitect fight (had almost 0 resistances)
Ended Act 2 at lvl 27.
-
Act 3 leveling

Skill tree:
1st: "Might" another +30 str
2nd: "Herd the Flock" for 6th zombie (at lvl 33)
3rd: "Puppet Master" for 7th zombie (at lvl 35)

Now have 7 zombies and enough damage (Dominus died easilly), but lack of survivalibity for character, especially in tight corridors of the incursion temple (~ 600 life)
Plan is to take:
3 nodes with "Quick Recovery" and 3 with "Heart and Soul" for more life.

used skills:
Raise Zombie -> Minion Damage -> Melee Physical Damage -> Additional Accuracy
Shield Charge -> Additional Accuracy -> Fortify
Hatred -> Generosity
Desecrate
Flesh Offering
Clarity

Finished Act 3 with lvl 36, after that did normal lab and took first ascendancy - Invoker

The only issue is with Incursion Temple where my clear speed and survivalibity is not enough.

I have a question, when to take Elemental Equilibrium, i have weapon with add fire and lightning (no cold anywhere). Now or wait to get 4 link everywhere first?

I'm glad you're into it!

With EE, take it when you can for sure. Sooner the better if you have something that works for it.

Hey Triniparty, I love your builds and guides, thanks so much!
My question is about the Math of arctic armour. What does it end up slowing after the 80% reduction for shaper? At which point is the reduction applied?

I get the feeling that even if it is 80% or 60% total reduction, it's still great being able to reduce boss DPS by about 10%...

Awesome! Thanks for the compliment. (Just to be clear, I'm sure it's what you meant, Arctic Armour isn't in this build. The math was for Curses like Temporal Chains.) My assumption is that the curse mitigation that bosses have is applied AFTER the improvement math. So we have:

Enhancing Quality:
- Temporal Chains: 29%
- TC Quality: 10%
- Enhance: "8%"

Enhancing Effect:
- Blasphemy Quality: 10%
- Tree Nodes: 40%

29+10+8=47
10+40=50

47+(47*(50%))=70.5

70.5-(70.5*(80%))=14.1

That's my guess. (There's a picture in the guide under the Curse section.)

Having ANY boss do a minimum of 10% less damage is fantastic. The reason more don't do it is because of the investment. We're using 40 Gemcutter Prisms (to get TC and Blasphemy up) and 9 nodes (not counting travel nodes) to improve curse effects. Not to mention the 35% mana reservation blasphemied curses use, and we have 10 nodes on the tree dedicated to mana reservation reductions (excluding travel nodes). So we have significant investment to curse effect improvements.

I think it's worth it. Others do not (but they don't know what they're talking about) ;).

Does that answer your question? Let me know if you have more.

A little error to correct in your gem-links info :)

"
-Temporal Chains - Enhance is a DROP ONLY gem. It greatly impacts the value of Temporal Chains' slow, so as soon as it drops, start leveling it. It only has three levels and each level takes a LONG time to level up. It's first level gives no benefit, second level is +8% to gem quality, third level is 16%.

Still playing with your build, and having a good time,my only hint is to do not use only zombie but find a main skill just for the first acts to proceed more easy,SRS or Frost Bomb can do the job.

Thanks for the correction! I'll fix it to Enhance Support right away.

- SRS is a good hint for those looking for speed. I'm glad you're enjoying the build!

Act 4 leveling

Skill tree:
1st: 3 nodes with "Quick Recovery"
2nd: 3 nodes with "Heart and Soul"
3rd: "Elemental Equilibrium"

used skills:
4 link everywhere.

I am not using curses yet because no mana reservation pool.

I made one change: switched "Additional Accuracy Support" for "Minion Speed Support".
IMO that boosted clear speed, and easier to color with 3 blue, 1 red (arm/en.shield chest).

Build works good. Mouse only now, walking left button, right for shield charge, and middle for "Raise Zombie".

Boss killed easily at lvl 44.

Any changes you make and like are good changes. I'm glad you're liking it. You can also change the other Additional Accuracy support for Shield Charge and make it Culling Strike instead.

Thanks for really deep-in guide.

im currently @lvl 30 with 5 zombies. I hate being slow so i added little speed to your build. For zombies: Zombie - phantasm on kill - minion speed support (B-B-B) dps is good and phantasms improve it even more. For my movement i have cold snap - spell cascade (B-B). Snap gives zombies direction for attacking and free frenzy charges for me. With frenzy and +15 boots you are running almost like ranger :). Everything so far was breeze but for though moments i also have desecrate (G) and flesh offering (B) and recently added convocation (B).

Looking forward to Shield charge but im little worried about its cast speed, re-casting and its impact for speed. Will see when i meet Siosa.

Video from early maps would be nice too. :)

Thanks for the comments. I don't have the 3.3 version of this build to endgame yet (I'm only Act 4). I'll post a video of the 3.2 version (since nothing changed between 3.2 and 3.3 for this build).

Would Charged Dash be too slow for you?
