Skill Revamps - Part 1

Lots of talk on numbers, look and feel considerations would increase enjoyment to use skills, eg:

* Flicker Strike could leave an brief blurred afterimage. Make you feel like a ninja.

* Firestorm while looking awesome could be ”thinned out” for more overall transparency and more of a rain feel. Once had a friend die in HC because when a party member spammed red rain in a small boss room with red floors and red walls, against a red boss. He couldn't easily see the red one shot laser.
one word men: TRAPS.
people who say reduce cooldown should just get out, get out now. traps need better mechanics: throw time, travel time, sprung time, cast time(of the spell from the trap itsef) need reworking not the cooldown.

the entire Bestiary league was such a .x.storm because trap's intrinsic mechanics: slow throw, did it sprung?, will it get triggered?, did it fail?; NO ONE KNOWS until a few second later when the mouse flies towards the window and the keyboard is broken in two.
Finally, this is the right route.

Make also a "revamp" of the old armour skin. The new sin/innocence set are very cool and finally have the male/female version. Make a female version of the old set. So, old set may have a new life and "old" supporter players may have a great surprise and may re-use the old skin.

Very nice. Please buff Dominationg blow and Conversion Trap.
..with Threshold jewels, if you have to.

Ice spear is used to trigger crits for EO. It still has its use, unlike Dom Blow and Conv. trap.
I think channeled spells could use a revamp, as they are completely useless on boss fights... standing still for 1 second usually means instant death
Finaly, elemental hit gets a Buff.... i hope...

I'm very excited by this. It's excatly what is needed. Focus more on the content we already have and make it playable, before adding new content.

Talking of reworks and adjustments. I was really sad to see Dark Pact getting such a huge nerf. The problem with Dark Pact was not the damage. It should have so high damage with the drawback. The problem with Dark Pact was the instant leech from Vaal Pact, which you reworked the same patch you nerfed Dark Pact in, making the skill more or less useless. The skill needs either a damage increase or less health removal, so it will be manageable with high life regen to.

Talking of reworks. When are we going to see improvements to Iron Will casters? It really seems like you are killing that playstyle more and more.

And some sort of change to the Blood Magic keystone? Using life instead of mana to cast/attack, should come with some sort of benefit (life regen, damage, ect.). Mana regen/leech is so easy to come by these days, making Blood Magic more or less useless for 99% of builds. The extra life, is usually not even worth the traveling to get it either. We need some sort of reward to pick it up, making it an actual consideration. On top of that, you can't use auras or blasphemy curses. Way to many drawbacks, with to little reward. Sacrificing your life through Blood Magic should be exciting and rewarding.
About time for Dark Pact and Abyssal Cry to get some love?
