The problem is that's not how it's going to work. The economies going to become inflated and the people who abused this "game mechanic" now have alot of money and will be able to afford ridiculous prices most players can't. Trickle down doesn't and never has worked in any economy.

To all the people asking for the items to be removed, the problem is that the duped items are no longer in possession of the people who duped them. They have been sold to other players and will continue to be sold before they can remove them even if they could. In that case the players who bought the item will be punished and not the players who duped them.

true, the combination and summary of fiaskos this (and previous) leagues is adding so rapid. dont get it what the hell the "Q&A" team is doing for their money.

There's a common misconception in the community that our balance team doesn't play Path of Exile. They actually do play it, a whole lot. We have people with level 100 hardcore characters, multiple famous community members who have come to work for us and you may not even know it. The minimum requirement to join our QA team is 1000 hours of PoE experience, and we still turn people with that prerequisite away if they're not good enough at the game. Our design, balance and QA team are experts at Path of Exile.

Welp I was already incredibly annoyed that between last league & this one so far, I had not found a single exalt. Now I see the dupers are literally swimming in currency while I can't afford to get a flask that costs 1ex. Fun times.

This have been happening at the beginning of every league ever. It changes nothing, as usual.

But its damned strange that they cant sort this out considering it always happens.

Well, glad I decided to wait until I played the league before buying a supporter pack. Guess I'll hold off on it... and do the same for future supporter packs as well.

How does GGG keeping screwing up this league? It's getting silly at this point. Just throw another band-aid on and hope it sticks I guess.
