edit: on a serious note. I am completely fine with how it is atm(and my templar doesn't really seems to understand that you are supposed to CATCH them not KILL them...)

It gives players who aren't about running trough maps at mach speeds one punching everything into oblivion, something unique to do without feeling that they are gimping themselves.

There is trading for those who can't be bothered, they farm the currency at far greater speed than the slower players anyway.

If you look into anything, try to make the net mechanic a bit less clunky, not outright destroy it (targeting a single mob among dozens can be quite enraging)

I say - punish players failed to capture a beast with 10 Vorici missions in a row.

That way they'll learn very quickly how to control mobs hp.

It's probably been suggested, or something similar.

Make the capture mechanic a curse or something that functions like it.
Have it "Mark an Enemy" for capture.
Once the marked enemy reaches a "Dead" state through either Damage or Culling strike.
The Enemy is captured and Professor Einhar Frey appears through his portal and does his little animation.

Make the ability a skill gem and stop charging currency to farm more currency.

They only vote no to hurt the people with fast and high damage builds... GGG should have known this would happen... the people that say no got no other reason because they can still go on catching live beats. They just want to ruin the game for the rest.

Yes, I don't like how many uncontrollable variables can be involved depending on your build. I use Solar Guards + Projectile Weakness, so it can get very frustrating trying to mouse-over a constantly-jittering target in the middle of a swarm of monsters. Also, because my computer is a potato my FPS is sub-30 depending on the map, and it can get really frustrating timing/aiming the net throw. Could there be alternative methods to fixing this? Of course. Do I care? NOPE. This seems like the easiest way of going about things, and I really don't care about... whatever everybody is trying to preserve -- I just wanna get my 40/40 challenges, buy every new unique and be done with this league; whatever makes accomplishing this goal easier I will support.
