A Few Specific Balance Changes in 3.2.0

Are you guys retarded? This league already adds NOTHING to maps, now you're removing breach, gutting the best item for spamming maps all day and nerfing sextants making maps even more vanilla...

Try having people who actually play the game make some changes for once.
Wow, what a great changes this league is going to be fun :).
Rushing zana 8,sextant blocking, making mf character , feeling forced to run vault, skipping all the other loots, and just farming for cards and such. I didn't like doing all these, and felt forced to do it because it was by far the best way to farm. Personally, i enjoy rotating maps and identifying items now i can do this without feeling i am at a huge profit loss.

yes sure.. it had an impact... but the items wasnt 3x as expensive as normal.. im sure they went up... but to say a normal guy wasnt able to effort something is just NOT true...

and as i said... we paid the price of kinda boring mapping...it was just a grind... if u want to play every map on the atlas because its more fun to u... dont complain about other machanics that are that are more effective to make currency...

ppl are crying here about zana 8 and sextants are just very casual gamers... if u rly want to play the game and do something, you need time... ppl are crying to get zana to 8 in 3 mounths while other ppl do this in 1 week and less... and with currency u do it in half a day...

theese ppl that are happy abaout the changes are ppl that come online... play for 1 hour... go offline... and cry after 1 week of "gameplay" why they havent finished their build yet...

thats the truth i would say...

games like theese will always need a heavy investment of time... but ppl dont understand that... they want everything immediately... they dont see how many time other ppl invest... they only see what they have (currency) and start crying...

Zana only mattered cause it was sort of needed for part of one challenge (6c for breach is way to much btw) but at least now maybe we can get her to 8 in the 3 months WITHOUT TRADING

Mob damage just makes me want to play max blocker more and i dont think will effect anyone much

I never planned on making a Oni build thus i dont care if it was nerfed

Bisco didnt feel like it works in the first place when i used it on legacy... MF should just be removed from the game and raise mob mf from maps or something so it benefits everyone the same

Honestly think GGG doesn't understand that every time there is something good and they listen to the squeaky wheels it ruins the fun experience for the larger majority that isn't always so vocal.

Oni-Goroshi change really upsets me a great deal! I had planned to try to get this item to help me get going this next league, and I have 3 characters this league pushing level 7 and 8 before I got even one to drop. I actually stopped after a while due to the time sink! To hear you are changing it to be either easy to extremely hard to drop, and at different levels than before is also annoying. So some will get it EZ, and others like mentioned will waste a lot of hours with no drop. So now I have to grind to over level 7 before it drops? Is this rolled on the character or just on each instance? So some will get it at level 1 while others maybe level 10? I say having a harder fight when it does happen is cool! Don't punish those trying hard to get one to succeed in this game. To me this is a punishment to everyone for those that have found the bug in your previous drop rate. Keep the drops rate at level 7. All the rest about making the fight harder with variance is fine!

GGG always nerfs, and I have a long past on other games doing this as well. It brings me to a point after a while regardless of the money I have invested in the game/developers/community that I just can't play it anymore. The pure fact is a game is supposed to bring enjoyment. This is no way to bring enjoyment to your community. There are tons of other games in the market, and pushing away your core players around each corner will make less and less play on the long haul.

I'm still upset at the experience nerf at levels 95+. While I only have one character at level 95, and many don't grind past level 90 shouldn't be a way to satisfy some folks stating the grind to level 100 was easy. Well if you have a great character the grind will happen. I don't understand how GGG can have a group meeting for changes with some GGG employees having only a level 46 on standard. That is like 2-3 hours of gameplay. Not enough to understand what the player community does. To me this is a joke. I thought GGG employees were supposed to play the game? If there are others with less game time than that having a voice in changes I feel that is a failure in your decision making. You should give a vote to the game supporters for changes that you feel could go either way, or when you receive feedback from these posts that the community does not resonant with your decision. I have not seen any big change back on anything you have rolled put since I started in 2013. Possibly a tiny bit in the beta times. Otherwise I stand behind that statement. I have played 4 1/2 years, and quite frequently in the past 2-3 years. I'm starting to feel my support is less and less appreciated. When I voice a concern with nothing happening over and over it causes a negative feeling.

One final note to mention is my brother and I purchased Diablo 3 when it first came out. Sure it was fun, however with Blizzard doing so many nerfs in a overall negative way each patch we both walked away. $60-100 USD dropped as we purchased both versions. I have given support for GGG in the $ hundreds over my 4.5 years of playing as it has been fun due to my enjoyment on loot based games. Clearly I am one player, however I feel many are like minded that do not always voice there concerns. Others are easy to do so in sometimes a childish manner. I always like to see both sides to a situation, and being employed in customer service I like to give my customers a positive walk away feeling from any issue. I don't know if some of the changes mentioned never get revised or a compromise met when overall negative feedback happens I will put as much into this game moving forward. Keeps getting harder and harder for me to justify spending the money when things I like in the game are slowly grinded into dust. Guess at a certain point I should understand it is grinding gear games.

Ok, so new (cough) player.

Having just witnessed the wealth / items that Abyss players bring back to STD whelp... there was obviously major balancing points.


Personally witnessed:

Players posting 288 ex / 600+ chaos orbs from a three month league. Some were posting 1k+, no idea if that was genuine though.

Player giving me multiple (!!) endgame items as he had duplicates from Abyss and needed the space. This is Art / Shaper endgame items, given because he had better. These are endgame items he was able to farm... in a three month league. I gave him a Quill bow to level a new char and he actually thought that was more useful (>.<).

Watched a popular Streamer using the Sextant / Vault abuse stuff: getting more currency in 40mins than most players could ever see in two years of playing without abusing this mechanic. Oh, no monsters? ARPGs don't do that.

There are players entering Std from Abyss League with obscene amounts of currency. Like, literally 1k of orbs.

Sextants: Rule 101 of Game Design. IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL BREAK IT. Wtf were you thinking?! It's like the 101 of Design: you design around the fringe cases, because all MMO / aRPG players at high levels are basically poorly functioning narcisstic sociopaths who will exploit the system to the very ends of insanity if it is to their own advantage, even if it bankrupts the company whose game they play. This is a fact long known.

TBH - the entire structure is broken. There's not enough Uniques for multiple builds (I was SHOCKED when I looked @ the tables - Grim Dawn has 80% more uniques, sets and generally a far more sophisticated system.

Make Tora the Huntress the meta level 8 for next league.

Step your game up and make about 200+ more uniques for builds. It's not hard, it just takes a bit of knowledge. i.e. why are the only summoner support wands / boots etc so low level? Stop being lazy - Grim Dawn has apparently x6 the amount of useful uniques (and SETS) that PoE does.

Of the current list of uniques: about 70% are redundant (i.e. no longer work for builds) or just plain crap.


Oh, and make Tora 8 the new Master-meta. Bestiary League? Come on, takes 2 days coding to make her give +net % capture chances and so on.
