A Few Specific Balance Changes in 3.2.0

I am usually one to post, and I don't usually complain about nerfs either, but Oni ? really ? was that really needed ?

I am kind of a casual player, although I can play for longer than most, I take most of my fun from the actual story content, why ? because I like to play SSF, I am not very good at making builds and the game no longer runs well on my NVidia (I do have a pc with a Radeon card installed but it's not available to me most of the time).

Since I can't run the game properly on my basic NVidia card, which got nerfed during either 3.0 or 3.1, can't be sure as I couldn't be here for 3.0. I can't map, not really, even at lowest graphic settings game is unplayable. Funny thing is that it runs amazingly well on a even older Radeon card with almost everything maxed out, go figure.

Without maps all I have left is trying some fun stuff, this last league that was actually ONI, it took me over 7 hours to find one btw, but it was kind of worth it. I managed to have some fun with the game, something I wasn't getting anymore.

I guess I can still try to get an ONI, but reducing its chances of dropping means it'll take me how long this time ? Not trying any different ONI build this league, I guess.

I'll try something else, will get to maps, maybe, and then give up, possibly.

I know, buying a new PC might solve my NVidia issue, specially if I went for Radeon this time, but I actually do prefer NVidia most of the time, after all, I can still play D3 and GD without any problems, and even Original Sins 2 runs perfectly well.

I don't really care for sextants, never really got to use them.
Don't care for Biscos either, not my thing.

Oh well, keep up the good work, you can't ever please everyone, but I really thought this was going to be a fun league, might still be, ascendancy changes are cool, for all my favorite classes.
zana pretty much expected.

oni goroshi pretty pathethic putting a patch over the OPieness of the item basicly just making it harder for the average player to get it and making the lucky guy that gets it being able to breeze trough the game, either change they way of getting it or just straight up remove it for the first week than set it as it was in 3.1

RIP bisco , nerf needed but not as hard especially when its already such a low drop rate its just not worth buying for the average player

sextant changes FUCKING FINNALY
Easy solution to sextants problem would be:

1) Remove bad sextant mods (slip streams etc.)
2) Reduce sextant drop rates
3) reduce the number of sextants needed to create cartographer's seal.

Bisco change is not that terrible in my opinion. It would be cool if IIQ roll was static at 50%

I'm sad about Zana's mod Breach because breaches are really fun to destroy.

*peace*

Soooooooo HAppy with these changes!

As a full atlas unlocker and non sextant blocker, I was at a serious disadvantage this league and could not compete or even keep up with the rapidly inflating prices in the trade market.

I was playing 3-4 hours a day and full weekends but the prices of 20/21 gems for example was at 3-5 EX only a week or so in and stayed high throughout the league...

You could have farmed a 21/20 gem in 3-4h... facepalm
You dont go with the machanics like seytant blocking or zana breach and cry about it...
if u did...idk..im sure u didnt...

but yes...cry

My 2 cents as usual:)

Bisco > well, to be honest i really would like iq to get removed completely, since as now builds can be categorized in boss farmers, map farmers and racers. 100% of the second category and likely a good chunk of the third use bisco's collar and probably several other pieces of iq gear. That mean that if someone want to play efficently you already know the items you will end using, and consequently the best build to exploit these.

There are no bosses worth farming anymore. Super early temp shaper/uber atziri. If you want to compete as a racer you need a team, you wont solo compete with a group of players that have a dedicated 4-6 person team. So that leaves you with casual racing which is whatever, get a build of the net test it out and enjoy it for what it's worth.

Sextants > Meh, i really don't like hard caps. But whatever, at least improve mobs density for maps as some really feel too empty without the sextant boost.

That's not how they do it, mob density is going to be shit. Now you'll have to spam sextants if you want to have a decent amount of density.

Breach and Zana > less xp to cap her is good, was a bit too tedious before. About breaches, well, zana's mods rotate, so i have nothing to complain (and i love breaches sooooo much). Also cards for breach stuff will be implemented so we will not miss any build enabler stuff in that regard.

k, this is all :) Good luck guys

They wont reward you with good mods because zana got an xp nerf. You'll get some 3 chaos pleb mod now at level 8 that you pay 6 chaos for.

About the first reply, i think you got me wrong. I was trying to explain my feelings: when i plan a char i usually decide the goal for the build. If it is plain map farming, i already know i have to involve myself with some iq gear, and bisco, so i have less freedom. About racers, i meant a build that's tailored about getting as much high level as possible, not necessarily with the ladder in mind. I found many peoples still trying to get to 100 the last week of the league for example, and all of them usually traded out some iq gear to get more survivability.

About boss farming not being worth, i 100% agree with you, yet peoples still run shaper and atziri, so these have to be taken into account.

Btw i really hope you're wrong about sextants, but only time can tell :)

Shouldn't have sold my extra Oni before league end. Shouldn't have sold my Bisco's before league end lol. CRAP.

Sextants.. great

Zana lvl 8... great!

Breach ---- RIP ----

I'm pretty happy with all the changes, even Oni :( but this [below] is an ominous addition to the time increased farming time:

Oh, and have fun with the 3.2.0 Uber Hillock fight when you do find him ;-)

I take this to mean that many will die in the Hillock fight. If that happens, do you get to go back into the strand and have another go at him? Or do you have to keeping grinding for the next RNG hit?

Did we get a triple whammy?

I spent 5 days (total) at the start farming Oni Goroshi in Abyss and in standard. I found 8. Looks like I will cut back to two this go around.

Aside from the OG changes, which are slightly bizarre, as they introduce more RNG into the process of farming a unique that you spesifically didn't want to be RNG-based, i'm okay with those.
Harbinger Zana mod, pretty-please?
damn this means that shaped vault is going down in price. might not even be the go to this time. oh well.
bring back the state of the game in 1.3 vaults of atziri patch
