not gonna quote it again but snorkle was on the money, I actually like bosses like this (not the lightning elder guardian he is honestly taking the piss for a boss fight), playing the content feels great with the right type of character.

I do also understand how it feels bad when your on cruise control smashing everything though, i feel like i'm doing something wrong when a boss doesn't simply fall before my fury. These two mixes messages GGG keeps sending me confuse me somewhat.

Still happy about the boss design good work :)
More shitty invulnerability phases - because everyone loved them the previous patch so much!

This will never happen due to MF rules and huge disparity between bosses and monsters on map. How do you want to do it? you do the drop calculation like now (edit: i.e. on monster kill in the map), but instead of dropping it, you add the drop to a list. when the boss is dead, it drops what is in the list. so while clearing, the mapping gear is used for drop calculation. just as it is now.

Invulnerable phases are crap as they break the fight.

Instead of being invulnerable allow the boss to still be hit yet ramp up their regen or defenses during those phases so you do very little damage but they are still engagable. Throw in all the adds you want just don't make it so we can't damage them at all during that time, this would allow players who have retarded levels of gear and setups to kill the bosses faster without deleting them but still not make them annoying 1 shot wait for phase to end 1 shot end for phase to end etc.

If you insist on adding invulnerable phases consider doing it as invulnerable to specific elements, pds, poison, burning etc but on a timer so for 10 seconds no pds would hurt them but elemental still would etc. It would slow down the 1 shot but keep the fight actually going.

Terrific. Have you ever play sextanded map with 3 breaches and few abyssys, wearing bisco and MF stuff, with “plague of frogs” in addition? Whole ground is flooded with loot (crap in 99,5 %), even with item filter. It’s simply impossible to fit all those items in small “boss arena”. It could work only in case, if instead of tons of shit (including 90% of “unique” items, which is also worthless crap) boss drop contain real good things, with some serious and usable prefixes.

More invulnerability phases, great.

Maybe you could make it so maps had them as well? Like you get stuck on add phases going through maps before door forward opens.
Seeing how fun and interesting it is with invulnerability phases i bet players would love it.
Never liked invulnerability on bosses and even less the add phase on them. leveling seems a long process as it is even now with 10 acts of which until you hit chaos orb recipe level drops, none of the loots are useful in any way for game economy when you ding the first toon, if this is just a second ACT10 dps check besides Kitava then I'm very disappointed.

As a side note, either that build has extremely poor dps, or that boss has the same broken mechanics and hp as High Templar Avarius / Innocence act 5 which seems more a dps check than anything interesting or fun.
