[3.4] 4 6L Solar Guard Spectres + 3-5 7L Flame Golems | Fast Clear | Melt Bosses | Tank | Cheap
This is a really fun build! Been trying to mix the tree a little from the Disco spectre build along with this one and clear speed is incredible, but what can I do for more defense beyond picking up the rest of the life nodes? It definitely feels squishier than Natt's torch the atlas spectre build. My resists are already capped.

Did you just use random Rares you found for dual wield Sunder leveling or some Uniques? I know it's "hur dur Sunder" but I like making sure if that's all right.

Hi, first of all thank you for the build!
Really enjoying it! Just one question.... How do you proc “increased minion damage if you have used minion skill recently”? With golems? If yes than golem skill cooldown is kinda slow... Thanks! |

iirc flesh offering is a minion skill.

" Brightbeak + Princess Sabre and abyss jewels with ele damage is all you need. Wear the abyss jewel belt with two sockets early on. |

What would be better, a +2 gem conc/minion damage helmet or a 35-40% Bone Helmet with conc/minion damage?

I found this thread while looking for opinions on a similar idea. However, mine is slightly different
Helmet with mods "supported by x level burning damage" and "supported by x level minion damage" would hold spectres: 1-2 wicker and 3-4 TV Chest would hold 6l flame golems Why this setup? First of all, we are no longer depending on +2 minion level mod since spectres gain little from it. They, however, keep their damage potential and there are plenty of helmets with these 2 mods. Moreover, since kills with DOT are always considered to be done by the player, it allows us to summon wolves via scourge and even weapons via commandment of war if someone likes to use them. Hilarious idea: replace scourge with stat stick with X% of physical damage gained as elemental damage. Commandment of war comes with innate 200% more multiplier, which is pretty much an equivalent to 6l AW except that instead of random weapon there are copies of your stat stick. I wonder if I'll be able to test it though :D Nothing here

" The original post contains section "Alternative Setup to Solar Guards" so it's perfectly fine to talk about them. Nothing here Last edited by trolldemort#3883 on Jan 5, 2018, 12:44:49 PM

Well, I'm blown away by how strong spectres are. This is my first go with them, ever, and despite a few hiccups in the beginning (not realizing my desecrate gem level capped corpse level, leaving in spell echo, other dumb stuff), I swapped from leveling gear yesterday at 67 and am now at 85 just blowing through maps. I've done pretty gnarly rolled red maps and clear just as fast as a low yellow map, you are legitimately capped only by movement.
I have a few changes I'm thinking of trying out, I'd like to get CWDT-IC in the links somewhere, which will require an Unset ring. Also considering a Hungry Loop setup with Zombies (instead of CWDT/IC) since I randomly hit that on my helm during Merc Lab. I took Convocation off of CWDT, I like the control over the positioning more than the hands-off approach. I do agree with the other sentiments that it feels a bit squishier, but with good movement/positioning and convocation use, you really shouldn't be getting hit all that much. Just crossed 5K life, hoping to hit 6k by level 92-93 with better rings. Would also be nice to work in another Soul Eater gem for the spectres, I'm not sure how much better 2 would be than 1, but the 1 is insane in dense maps when it gets going, the spectres get to be double my character size and just destroy everything. I'll make a video or two this weekend for the front page of the guide, I think when people see the clear speed/power on this it will get a lot more popular.
