I have one question, does anybody know if the jewel mod "% increased minion damage if you have used a minion skill recently" does that count for cast when damage taken skills like bone offering or you need to cast it yourself?

" If I remember correctly mods like this do count for triggered spells, but don't take my word for it. But for this build it doesnt really matter right? You use Flesh Offering all the time, even if you also use a triggered Bone Offering for the block, because it is like a 75% clear speed boost. I immediatly notice when it is down, minions do much less damage and my shield charge is so fuckin slow. Someone mentioned that using elemental focus for your clearspeed setup is bad, is there a support i should be using in place of that?

" No it's good, but if you have immolate in your helm you need someway of igniting to take advantage of it, so you take ele focus out of your golem setup. Otherwise Ele Focus is best. |

Decided to go with this build, but since I only play hardcore I wanted to see if I could adapt it with a little more survivability. I incorporated one of the new shields with % block chance applied to spells, picked up the block nodes in the witch tree, and am now max block / max spell block with just the use of bone offering. This lets me have free reign of my flasks to keep 2 insta hp and 3 situational. Have been farming elders / liches with no problem, aside from the random damage spike of the untuned lightning elder guardian. I've also been using a pair of gloves with the new 'gems are supported by level # blind' and linked my ball lightning coh setup there. It's been pretty nice. The only upgrades I see myself wanting are some of the same gloves vaal'd with temp chains or ele weakness, and a +1 curse amulet once I get them.

" what. my uber atziri split phases are at most 2-4 seconds with 4 solar guards and the uber trio takes 13-18 second to kill with a bit of running around. Solar guards dps are way higher than flame golems yo no matter how you look at it . you are comparing the base dmg of an ilevel 84 mob vs the base dmg of a level 68-72 mob. Flame golems already have the weakest single target dps out of the 5 existing golems since they tend to swap from magma ball to flamewave against bosses. No way they can compare to ilevel 84 spectres. This is my helm that I picked up for 3ex :D <3 Currently running 3 SG and 2 FG with abyss jewels. Cant decide whether I prefer clayshaper for the 3 golems or the scourge, clear time seems to still be instant. Currently using MOM but im thinking mom uses up a lot more passive points than simply going for more life points. Anyone have an opinions on this? Thanks! |
