[3.4] 4 6L Solar Guard Spectres + 3-5 7L Flame Golems | Fast Clear | Melt Bosses | Tank | Cheap

I am currently debating between the following two options and am interested in what you would think is the pros and cons of each?

Using 2 Solar Guards and 2 TVs (Solar Guards in Chest and TVs in Helm) with an Elder helmet with: +Minion Sockets/Burning Gem/Minion Damage

vs

Using 4 Solar Guards and 3 Flame Golems (Solar Guard in Chest and Golems in Helm per your build) with an Elder helmet: +Minion Sockets/Conc Effect/Minion Damage

Obviously for the first setup I would go for more abyssal jewels to help boost damage. I think clear speed might be a bit faster on first setup, but I am curious on the difference of Single Target on like Guardians and Shaper.

Thanks
Daedelis
To be honest, after trying golems + spectres I find it somewhat lackluster. By the time flame golem's projectiles reach the enemies everything is already dead thanks to solar guards superior clearspeed. And each jewel slot spent on anima + primordials means a heavy loss - up to 50 flat life and ~12% minion cast speed per jewel and possibly some flat damage as well. Overall, I dont think it's worth it.
Nothing here

Well, you seem to have missed the point. The goal is to have both a very fast clearing build and a boss killer that melts Guardians and Shaper. As pure Spectre, Solar Guards are SHIT for bossing, even if you swap support gems they are slow as fuck. You will have to get new T17 Spectres if you wanna do Shaper. And recolor your Vis Mortis. And then do the same again when you want to go back to clearing. With this build you have pretty much as fast clear speed as pure Spectre gives you, plus the boss melting of Flame Golem.

Also: Saying the jewel slots are wasted because of missed life is really crazy on a build that easily gets 6.5k EHP in full MF setup and 8.5k in normal gear. One has to be be a really shitty player to die with this char to more than the rare freak damage spike.

A few questions...

The setup with Ahn's and two Fragility jewels for perma-onslaught seems pretty popular but will the attack/cast speed from onslaught affect your minions? I'm new to the game so bear with me but from what I've learned so far unless it explicitly says it affects minions it generally doesn't.

I know this setup doesn't use necromantic aegis and/or victario's charity but could someone explain to me the pros/cons of using NA vs a setup like this which doesn't? The power/frenzy charges from VC seem really powerful according to POB.
Where are the 7l golems am i missing smth ?
Trust your mind and strengthen your abilities!

When your shield charging through the map really fast, flame golems help clear. If your going slower you probably won’t see a difference

Exactly, speed farming shaped t12-13's right now just shield charging almost never have to stop besides like abysses and stuff, its so fast with brightbeak and flesh offering so golems help alot with the clear.

I have tried alot of variations like 2 TV in helm + 2 SG in chest, 3 tv + WM, just going 4SG and swap for 4 TV for bosses etc and for me personally this is by far the setup I enjoy the most and feel is most convenient.

There aren't any +2 conc minion damage helms on the market.

Are there alternatives or priorities for the 2 links to get?

Order from best to worst alternatives: conc + minion damage, +2 minion damage, +2 conc.
