As for iphone.. it is being SOLD in your case and yes it wouldn't make sense to draw for that (even tho allple fans do lol)

I already have my account linked to Twitch but I do not see the "click 'update permissions'" they mention in the post.
All I do see is "Twitch Drops: Your account is eligible to participate in Twitch Drops."
Which is worded vaguely...Am I participating or am I eligible to participate and are currently not.

Isn't the math wrong ?
The prob of getting hat in lets say 500 intervals is .9934% (1-.99^500) if you wanna convert it to hours you need to 1st * 5 since intervals are every 5 mins, and than / 60 so its 41.66 hours (1-.99^500)*5/60
