First off, ty for pointing out pyre, i totally missed the buff in 3.0. I will add it to the guide as good alternative gear.

U can swap out dark seer, whenever u get a better rare scepter or at lvl 70 for the scourge, till that time it is fine.

The "DPS" for SR in tool tip is not there, where u look. Flat dmg has 0 effect on SR, it is just a display bug. In the picture i show where too look for the dps.

Yes, I am planning on chilling shaper and guardians. Dyadus guarantee chilling enemy for 1 second, as long as it's in your offhand and hit mob with it.

Thx for the link. I'm pretty skeptical about this, but wanting to try it myself now :) The only place, where the dmg boost would be needed, r the guardians and shaper, but i have a lot of doubts about guardian surviving those. Maybe not too rippy guardians, shaper beam would prolly kill it, or if it just decides to sand in a DoT pool.

Gear is mostly placeholder stuff i got together to try the build. I missed that craft on gloves (had it from another character), i'll work on upgrading other items later if i feel the character is worth it, as i found it can be tricky to get the correct stats where i need them.

Definitely not used to MoM characters so, i got it a bit wrong in the priorities i guess. I'll fix that over the next few levels, so far it's going pretty well and i don't need blood rage yet, so that gives me a bit of time to get the mana regen and gear i'll need.

Anyway it looks promising so far, that scorching ray dps is brutal for such a tanky character.
for him to survive, at least you need to respec one point to minion regen node in templar area, and maybe some minion life, and convocation. but it's totally worth it

I was thinking to link it to fortify and minion life. Or maybe in a 4L with movement skill for fortify and faster atks.

For chest prolly ice tomb for chill duration. What do u plan to use for other slots?
I had a doedre's scorn drop for me and I'm curious what your thoughts on that would be? I'm thinking move curses out of cwdt and do orb of storms > curse on hit > enfeeble > vulnerability. Could have level 22-23 curses then instead of level 5. It doesn't have armor or life, but it does have increased elemental damage and intelligence.

Edit: Got my own answer. I plugged it into your PoB link and it does increase damage by ~14K, but it drops life by about ~400 and Mana by ~175. After seeing how little the damage increased even though there was the % elemental and a level 23 Vulnerability I checked the wiki and realized the DoT doesn't increase with gem level. Didn't know that! If using Flammability instead of enfeeble DPS would increase by about ~30K when using Doedre's Scorn instead of your rare helm. Neither dps increase is worth it IMO. Just too small to make any kind of difference. Might be Ok for leveling until I get a proper rare helm.

That is basically what i would have an answered :)
culling strike from a corrupted "the scourge" works with scorching ray? or you must use orb of storms/shield charge?
