I completely forgot about Fertile Mind. Slotted that in, and you're correct, right about 42k dps w/ slower proj at the moment.

Hmm, finding more damage is going to be fairly tough. I did just do all of the Guardians without much issue, which is nice. Chimera is probably the scariest, chaos damage snakes and high phys damage can hurt, but did it without too many issues.

Guess I'll try to farm t16 maps, try to grind out some more levels. Debating possibly dropping Written in Blood and going down to Primeval Force, like in your original build.

Gratz on getting your level 21 ST!

I personally wouldn't recommend dropping Written in Blood as the HP and ES makes it one of the more effective nodes point-for-point in terms of increasing eHP.

If it is eHP that you're willing to sacrifice, I would sacrifice the starting HP nodes instead and path using the attack speed and proj dmg nodes:

Your HP will drop from 5.3k to 4.9k, but your hideout DPS will improve by about 5-6k. The added attack speed will also improve mobility and your character's response time, allowing for better manual dodging.

Another option is to give up also give up forces of nature for primeval force and also replace behemoth wound viridian jewel for another fertile mind. This will require 1 extra skill point however.

Your HP will drop from 5.3k to 4.8k, your ES will rise from 2.9k to 3k, but your hideout DPS will improve by about 7k. More importantly, you gain some reflect protection and your effective DPS will be higher during flask usage.

I think its awesome that you managed to dispatch the guardians. You may actually be more ready than I thought you would be. The ballpark figure I provided for DPS is probably more on the conservative side, but there's no harm in trying to improve your DPS further before you attempt shaper.

When you have 7.3 attacks per second (not including the bonus from vaal haste and ancestral protector), your probability of crit-ing and proc-ing EO every second is going to be approximately:
1 - (1 - 0.067)^7.3 = 1 - 0.6 = 40%

Imported your char (Whirler) into PoB.
This char didn't kill all bandits, haven't read all the comments yet but your guide suggests killing all for the 2 points.
What's your final opinion on the bandits?

Thats odd. I killed all the bandits for the 2 passive points.

I've just tried importing my character again and it includes the fact that I got 2 passive points from the bandits. If you look at my character as well you'll realise that I have 121 points which is only possible at level 98 if I did indeed kill all the bandits. Perhaps there's an error with your PoB?

tried the build and have that feel playing it, the mix between speed and survavility.
just wanna say,you are the men!!

was about to drop the ball this league, this build make me feel it again.

thanks for posting it!!
When I get home I'll try fiddling with the tree and trying your suggestions after some more levels.

And haha thanks re: 21 ST! The first one to hit 20 I just casually vaaled and got 21, yay! Maybe I can get another 21/20 and try to sell that for $$ !

The amulet I'm wearing now I was hoping to pair with another ring I bought for 44c, IF that annul didn't go badly :( Had 70 life, 50 int, 30 WED (I don't think I'd ever not think of it as WED...), and three trash stats. Was hoping to annul and craft another resist, buuuut rng is a cruel mistress and annul'ed the int. Oh well. Trying to sell it so I can at least recuperate some of the original cost. Still, it's not a bad neck and while it's a sidegrade compared to my old ammy, it does have more resistances and open suffix, so if I can find other ring upgrades, I can craft int on it, which would put it slightly above the old one.

Ring crafting is still no go, so far about 150c of alch/scour in, and maybe ten essence crafts. The search continues.

Will continue to farm guardians for the time being to get uniques for $$ to fund the crafting!
