Unofficial Offline Skilltree Calc (Delete the Data folder to update. Stop posting "update please" )
" check the regex box and search for "life|block" " were you trying to load "old" saved builds from the previous version? since ggg changed the character ids in the save string, this is now impossible.
Excellent program. Glad you made it available to the rest of us.
With regards to working with old builds, I have my own solution that seems to work fine. I have a copy of both 1.41 and 1.5 in separate directories on my computer. Since most of the forum builds give links to the open beta skill tree, I can display the link and copy it to both versions of the program. If there are any breaks in the tree in 1.5, then I can compare the entries from 1.41 and find matches in 1.5. This allows me to attempt to exactly recreate the old build, at least as far as major nodes goes. Then I can fill in the rest by finding nodes to match the missing ones in the new tree. So, I hope when you do put the 1.5 version into the original post that you do not delete the link to the 1.41 version.
Thanks a lot Headhorr. You're the man!

Last source code update were 'Mar 15, 2013'.
Always keep the repo updated. I've heard of open source projects that started good then stopped updating the source code repo. Users still downloaded the compiled files and unknowingly opened up their computer to bad code like information stealing. The authors stopped updating the repo because they started to add information stealing functionality. This is why I ask you to update the repo. So I can make my paranoia shut up. Also it is very hard to help if you do not have the latest code to work with :) |

I don't mean to be a stickler because I absolutely love what you've built, but the program still incorrectly displays at least one value that I'm aware of. Max life is now +8 per level instead of +6. It is of course perfectly possible to add this extra 2 life in manually when calculating, but if the tree did it on its own, that would be amazing!
Thanks! Last edited by qqwyeti on Oct 24, 2013, 11:07:56 AM
