I cant say for sure how many discharges im able to trigger per second, its just too fast to count. If i had to guess id say around 4.
But what i can definitely say is that with the flow untethered equipped, i trigger discharges more often and faster than without. So even with unoptmized attack speed, we can trigger around 1 extra discharge per second due to the belt.

Did you feel the same when trying it out ingame?

I think its really hard to calculate the hitrate from cyclone. Its seems not to be linear, it seems to rely on movement speed much more than attack speed. All i can say is: it works somehow.


Hey Sacro. Thanks for chiming in here. I've done a little more reading and it looks like RicoRGB has a good hyphothesis about attack time vs. discharges/s.

Looks like the sweet spot to get 5 discharges / second is between 4.5 and 4.7 aps. For reference, my no-buff 4.1 aps goes to 4.55 when i've taken a savage hit. Also interesting is that anything >= 5.0 aps will actually drop you back down to 4 discharges /second. This is all theory but it's the most logical one I've seen so far. Hope to do some testing on my end soon.

yes what Rico (best mjolner builder, he's really dedicated to it XD) has done is true thats exactly what ive done with my cospri's build to reach 5 discharge per sec record n go frame by frame to find how many discharge u do. Don't forget that u also have to keep in mind Chance to hit when it come to those number so ur 4.5 might be a lil higher if u have lower chance to hit...... But yes it is possible to get 5 discharge per sec but its not always the case. But has i said the belt is still BIS anyway.

Is there a way to make this a speed clear build version? Like with shield charge and with it have high attack speed for faster movement? Please respond if you've ever tried smth like that^^.

I tried shield charge but i did not like it. I couldnt really get better clearspeed with it than with cyclone. Maybe it can work with more investment, i did not try that. I'd say the cleaspeed is really decent, especially with a ms flask that has inc ms and inc effect. The clearspeed will probably not reach a good kb or bow build because these builds have a much bigger aoe they can cover.
This build is probably not a top meta clearspeed build, but it does not fall off too much if you skill aoe notes.
Not what i meant, i didn't mean to swap out cyclone.. just to use shield charge as a movement skill between groups, instead of some other gem setup.. you know faster attacks + shield charge.. the classic
Would the headhunter work for this build, if I had it?

Shield charging between groups is slower than just walking with 150% inc ms for this build.

Headhunter is the best item in the game when it comes to mapping and fun so use it if you have one. For bossfights, the flow untethered is better than hh.

your build seems really good atm. if you need more damage, get the dischharge helmet enchant. it helps a lot!

you could swap out onslaught for a dmg support like contrl destruction, conc effect or inc crit dmg if you wanna deal more dmg. i use onlsaught because i wanna map fast and deal enough dmg already. with too much dmg, reflect can be an issue.

in your pob link you forgot to include"enemy was hit by cold dmg recently". you have all it takes to make full use of EE in your build so its reasonable to include that in your calculations.

you may not have added lightning dmg to attacks or added fire dmg to attacks on yourr gear. if you have it, enemies will get additional resist against your discharge and you'll loose damage. with added cold damage, they get -50% resi to fire and lightning making your dischagre deal much more dmg. by clicking " enemy was hit by cold dmg recently" in PoB you can calculate your dps increase from EE. in your link, you forgot to include that.
