I'm still running with gems around 17/20, and yet im able to very safely clear all the T16 maps. The problem are the guardians. I've had to learn a couple of things the hard way before I actually managed to beat them with the gear I have. Below some general notes I always keep in mind now that I fight them: Chimera: Spoiler 1. Rippy mods are a bitch - don't roll multiple added damage mods, or two bosses - you're gonna have a bad time! 2. Grab a chaos flask for the snakes - they hurt like hell. I replace my Basalt with it for the boss fight. 3. During the mist phase, where the boss disappears use whirling blades to quickly cover all the areas and reduce the time you are receiving damage Phoenix: Spoiler 1. Purity of Fire is a godsend - those couple % increased resists help, and you can use it next to blasphemy-chains and arctic armor 2. You should be able to facetank everything apart from the big splosion 3. You can trigger savage hit by purposefully walking into the fire thingies 4. Keep the birds alive until you need emergency leech 5. Wither totem positioning is EXTREMELY important. When the boss is withered+chained he literally takes ~5s to do his blade dance attack! HUGE help. Minotaur: Spoiler Can't figure this one our right. I always die once or twice :( 1. Never stand in the aoe damage circles if you have space to reposition 2. You can facetank everything but the underground burrow 3. Wither totem positioning is VERY important here. When the boss is chained+withered he is much easier to kill. Hydra: Spoiler 1. If you need to trigger savage hit, ram a ball 2. Don't hit the balls unless #1 3. You can facetank everything but the charged bow shot I know this isn't big news to most you guys, but it might help others quite a bit. There are also some very basic tips everyone must remember: 1. Wither totem increases your damage quite a bit - always remember to place it in a safe place! If it dies, repop in another safe space. It also slows the enemies down, and paired with your curses is incredibly useful to soften them up 2. If you need to proc savage hit, carry a Doedre Elixir with ya for free savage goodness with a side-dish of 1 charge each! :D Wow your mini guardian guide is really succinct! But with build with low dmg you need a lot of experience. I'm not too sure myself. I'm not sure why you can't do Shaper with 8.4k Life. I'm only at 7.7k and I can tank anything the Shaper throws at me without dodging (melee, orbs with enough cast speed, beam with enough life leech, slam with enough defense) except Bullet Hell. The OP has a video of him doing the run so clearly it works, but it's slower than I would like due to the DPS - too many ice orbs on the floor by the end. And maybe I have to not panic so much :D Dark pact takes 6% of your life as the base damage, so 800hp will be roughly around 50 base chaos damage, which is arnd 5% more dark pact damage! How are you getting 9k life? Even if I replace the bisco and my resistance ring for +life I can only get to 8k. Are my next points on Blood Drinker for +life? Is my tree wrong? Blood drinker (20% for full cluster) 2. 5% life node at blood siphon cluster 3. 5-7% hp on one of your jewels (total 30% from just tree+jewels alone) 4. up to 79 life on one of your ring 5. flat life from levels (7 levels apart) 6. 60 flat life from changing both resists rings to coral rings 6 is for min maxing, not necessary at all. Also, I do have 9.4k hp currently at lvl 92 so i'd say thats kinda the cap at my level. levels do play quite a big part in increasing hp/dps of the build so do take note! It has come to my notice that many do not seem to be able to afford a kaom's heart. The community here has so far been really supportive of the build and I really appreciate that! Therefore, I am considering holding another raffle for a kaom's if there are sufficient people who need it. Hi, great guide, only now starting a Dark Pact character as I want to give Shaper and Uber Atziri a proper shot. One question (I couldn't see anything in the guide about it) why do you not take Mind Over Matter? is it just a case of wanting to run auras?
