Sound bug.

1 - It is not a "new bug", a quick search shows it has been mentioned some years ago;
2 - If you have a browser running, close it, restart the game and see if it works fine.

I had the same issue, Firefox was running (though the post I've seen mentions Chrome, therefore it applies to others), so I closed it, restarted game, speech crackling is gone.

I had this a couple times right after launch of 3.0, thought it was fixed but just had it happen again. Pretty annoying.

Would like to refresh the topic since it happens here and I'm looking for solution.

Using Steam client -

Things I've done:
- closed all programs before start PoE
- reinstalled the game (dude don't tell me to do it again.. on 4mb download internet)
- ^ reinstalled steam client and so the game like I mentioned up
- checked all my sound things and stuff


This happens ONLY in PoE. I can watch streams, play other games, do whatever on pc and the sound is ok. Before 3.1 I had no problems at all.
