Sao Paulo Server latency

Fitzy, at least for me it happens when I'm in the Sao Paulo gateway, and someone else using a different gateway whispers me. Between people from Sao Paulo there is no problem, I mean, they do not receive the "that character is not online". Now if a friend logged in Texas or Washington sends a whisper to me they are most likely to receive the "that character is not online" message.

Also, it's a bit random. Sometimes I just need to enter a new zone or re-enter the same instance to avoid the bug.

If you need I can make a list of instance servers at the moment of being bugged.

Yup. Only happens when users from others gateway tries to pm someone from BR gateway. I've tested this with my friends a few times. Right now the best option is to have the afk/doing other thing friend to stay online selling the gear from the others, so at least we can sell while playing properly.
Plus, not a lot of people are going to bother adding/partying the person who doesn't appear online, so we are essentially losing money and all of that.
But, the servers are much better at least. I believe Fitzy will solve this in no time :)

Thanks for the extra info - I'm now able to reproduce the chat problem.
I'm also in an unplayable situation, "An unexpected disconnection occurred." every 5 minutes, impossible to play even in softcore much less in hardcore, it started at the end of flashback event and continues to this day, all I can do in game is run a few T 3 maps before disconnect hits and I die or go back into oriath, wich is hell (fix your game). I play with mostly 30-40 ms in são paulo, done all the troubleshooting steps and everything is fine, until it's not, I stop getting response from server, I move and shoot skills but they don't register and I'm kicked out of server. This also happens when I switch gateways and during the disconnection episodes I keep an eye on my network and it's ALWAYS working fine, only POE on fire. I'm out of ideas and no one seems to know or care about this problem since there are more people complaining about this and NO ONE gave a positive response so far, almost a month into the league.

Was this addressed in the 3.3.0d patch??? Did not find any related note...

At least by now it seems to be working fine.

At least by now it seems to be working fine.


It wasn't a part of the patch, but included backend changes that required a realm restart to take effect.
