the problem is somewhere in brasil telecom and/or telemar norte. br servers for poe are hosted on softlayer but the return route is poe->softlayer->telemar norte->brasil telecom. the problem there is they do not issue routes for their backbone subnets so inward testing across it can't reliably pinpoint the bottleneck from outside. all ggg can do is warn softlayer and hope they relay it but south american isps rarely do anything about it due to lack of viable alternative routes. probably a known circuit down and the others are being stressed as a result if i had to guess based on the evidence. this is affecting more than just poe. akamai customers are noticing the same issue. I asked politely to they care more about this one, because I don't like to see that REDDIT was answered and their own forum wasn't. This. This thing, GGG NEEDS to change.
