Sao Paulo Server latency

I was practicing a bit to start next league and started to get 300 ms from Brasil server.
I'm from Argentina. I also have the same problem with another game but not with every game so I'm thinking it's something about Brasil and Argentina. I'm using TELECENTRO if anyone is having the same issue and would like to know. Thanks! I think the problem is related to server capacity.
North America has 3 servers, EU has at least 5, and South America only have 1. Every time there is more ppl playing the lag spikes is way worse. GGG should buy more servers around here. | |

Recently I also had issues with Sao Paulo server from Uruguay; lag and disconnects. I have been forced to stop playing since NA servers are too far so it also get laggy.
I hope it can be fixed soon. |

" Same here (both Telecentro and from Argentina). I've noticed some changes (from my ISP I guess?), and when I'm having normal latency, my MTR looks like this:

Hello again Fitzy,
Just wanted to express some concerns like a lot of the people here have done already. This week we've (SaoPaulo players) had some troubles with the server latency, not me specifically because I haven't been able to play this week but some friends have complained. I just wanted to ask if there has been any progress regarding finding a new server somewhere else in South America that's not the same gateway we're already using, like you said you were looking into. It's not that we're worried about league start because not only SaoPaulo has issues, we get it, it's a load of people logging in at the same time... But for the rest of the league I'd really hope some improvement comes along and we (the players, but also you guys!) don't have to go through what it's been sadly a more common than rare situation of high latency spikes or just plain servers not working. I realize that making a server change now could be even dangerous without knowing how stable that would be it could be(theoretically, although hardly) worse, so I really don't expect a server location change from now until betrayal release, but it sure would be nice if you could let us know of any news regarding this topic.
