Posting on this thread again to say that around 2:40 PM local time today I started experiencing higher latency, which is an unusual time for this to happen.
I ran WinMTR again and these were the results: |------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | 192.168.0.1 - 0 | 358 | 358 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 10.12.0.1 - 1 | 354 | 353 | 2 | 7 | 22 | 8 | | bd07505a.virtua.com.br - 0 | 358 | 358 | 6 | 17 | 130 | 8 | |embratel-G1-3-1-iacc01.rpo.embratel.net.br - 0 | 358 | 358 | 22 | 27 | 42 | 27 | | 200.230.235.253 - 0 | 358 | 358 | 29 | 32 | 50 | 33 | |ebt-T0-14-0-8-tcore02.cas.embratel.net.br - 0 | 358 | 358 | 26 | 31 | 45 | 30 | | ebt-B1192-tcore01.spo.embratel.net.br - 0 | 358 | 358 | 26 | 30 | 50 | 32 | |ebt-H0-7-0-0-puacc03.spo.embratel.net.br - 0 | 358 | 358 | 19 | 25 | 44 | 25 | |peer-B54-2177-puacc03.spo.embratel.net.br - 0 | 358 | 358 | 23 | 33 | 95 | 49 | | ae5.dar01.sao01.networklayer.com - 0 | 358 | 358 | 131 | 142 | 161 | 142 | | po1.fcr01a.sao01.networklayer.com - 1 | 354 | 353 | 121 | 139 | 157 | 140 | | 36.84.39a9.ip4.static.sl-reverse.com - 0 | 358 | 358 | 132 | 142 | 161 | 142 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider I noticed that this time the higher latency started on a networklayer host, which was not the case before (see my previous post on this thread) | |

We don't quite have the resources to make South America's internet infrastructure more reliable.
We're still waiting on news back after attempting to contact responsible ISPs. I'm also investigating alternative hosting options. |
