[3.0] WanderFinder Under 1ex Guardians/Shaper no problem.

Next up they nerfed flasks further, taking the ability for the Dying Sun to grant an extra projectile. The only way to make up for that is to give up one of the badly needed jewel slots in the skill tree to put in a shitty cobalt jewel, meaning we would have to give up Life + Damage + Crit/Damage in the process. Next up they nerfed every single flask we use in the cheap or expensive version of the build, dramatically reducing our damage mitigation and DPS.

Dying sun didn't lose it's extra projectile.

They did nerf things across the board but that doesn't make it unplayable. It's about 15% reduction so you're talking need to take 1 extra shot at the enemy for every 10. The build is for under 1 ex and if you can get up to mid tier maps with it, which it can, then you can improve on it easy.
Thanks!

Path of Building hasn't been updated to reflect the latest 2 rounds of beta changes yet.

EDIT: From what D6vil stated in the comment below, dying sun didn't lose it's extra projectile. Which also makes me wonder how much you know and how much you actually read. I'll go ahead and say this build is fine for 3.0. Cya and glhf in 3.0!

He misunderstood my comment & hasn't read the changes properly. The Flask changes brought down the efficiency of Flasks (as in, the statistical efficiency) to under the threshold that granted an extra projectile by using the Dying Sun Flask. So now you have to use the Dying Sun Flask AND take a special cobalt jewel in the place of a normal Life + Damage + Damage/Crit/AttSpd jewel instead, to get the extra projectile back. Or you simply have to just give up the extra projectile, which reduces DPS, the rate at which you gain charges/crit & DPS, as well as reduces your ability to stay alive due to lesser life-leech.

Not sure why so many people here are crying that this build "is unusable!" in 3.0

Plugging gear/tree into PoB, yes it did seem go down a bit, but that doesn't make it non-viable. Is it potentially worse now? Yes. Is it still going to be powerful? Yes.

Plus there are several ways to approach this build. You can go Pathfinder like Ace first suggested. I tried it as Champion in 2.6 and it was very strong (killed all guardians, shaper, dozens of deathless uber izaro runs made it actually good lab runner) and it can also be run as Raider, with the changes to Ice Bite scaling off Frenzy Charges (and no nerf to Frenzy Charge as people were afraid of) this might actually be worth looking into, or running Damage at Full Life (now works with ranged/non-phys attacks) would also go well as Raider since you'd be able to then generate those Frenzy charges without Bloodrage.

I'm still most likely playing some variant of this build in 3.0. It's a fluid build, being able to use Barrage/KB is very nice for general mapping, everything meshes together well, it's cheap, satisfying to play, and I can't see how it would be a bad choice as a league starter. Worst case you use it to farm up a bunch of currency into yellow/early red maps and then re-roll something else later, either way it's hard to go wrong.

Plus for the first couple days of the league while you're building up currency it can be played as a bow build effectively. It works well with Piscator's obviously, but also with any decent rare wand. It's very flexible/cheap in gearing requirements.

So I Looked at this build for a league starter for 3.0 so got on standard spent about 1x on gear was able to do dried lake with all level 10 gems the got a vinktar for about 1x and was able to face roll as a pathfinder so this will be my league starter and trust me guys its not dead
can you make a tree for hc version ?

There is no viable HC version of this build. Pretty sure Ace says that in the build guide video he posted in the opening post of this thread. You'd be lucky to crack 4700 effective health after the 3.0 nerfs with this now unless you push it to around L95+ & being that defence and leech was largely flask, charge & ascendancy-reliant (they all got nerfed, as did the flask nodes), you wouldn't touch this build with a 40-foot pole in hardcore.

As Adam stated, this build is a build that wont ever touch HC. You will be able to play it on SC as a league starter, it is not as strong as it was before the changes, but a simple and easy league starter to get some currency going.

Is this Build Beginner Friendly?
And is this Ready to 3.0? ^^

You might have a tough time leveling as a ranger if you're a beginner. Marauder typically is quite a bit easier. But it's definitely ready for 3.0 ;)
just curious... You think that pathfinder is best choice for end game optimalization in 3.0 ?
