[3.0] WanderFinder Under 1ex Guardians/Shaper no problem.
What about Thunderfist gloves for mapping?

" Thunderfist is a nice boost for KB and helps with single target as well, if damage is not needed then any rare glove with hp/res/aspd/flat light etc |

now Melee Damage on Full life change to Dmg on full life ... so can it replace the Elemental Focus?

" I will choose not to believe you, you dont seem experience enough or have any proof at all backing upp your statement. " The guy you chose to believe really sound credible, kappa. So just because someone writes 2 sentences "answering your question" without any data at all, does it mean that he is correct? Absolutely not. Last edited by Snäääbt#5370 on Aug 2, 2017, 2:40:30 PM

heart of steel notable in witch area now requires 3 traveling points to reach. i don't think it's worth it in 3.0
perhaps thick skin down in ranger area instead? same amount of points as before. |

" That's the change I've made so far, though I've sacrificed a bit of damage too for more life, currently sitting at 5.2k Life rather than 4.XK on the initial pastebin, I'll see how it performs and if it's too low I'll just respec back to the damage nodes. |

I just hope that AceOfSpades will update passive tree and other stuffs, is there any to update :). I personally think that this is still viable in 3.0, no reason not to be. We'll see.

" You need to be on full life for this though, which means no blood rage, which means that you probably have to pick raider to use that gem. It is the single biggest more multiplier available in gem form in the game though... so hmmm. Maybe once PoB is updated this can be number crunched. | |
" Not sure how viable it will be now. Large & significant Life and Crit nodes were removed from the 3.0 tree along our building path first. No replacement for them. Then they killed energy shield and how it works defensively, so now we have to rely on the substantially shittier armour or evasion instead. Then they nerfed the alchemist nodes, gimping flasks by 15% across the board. No ability to make up for that. Next up they nerfed flasks further, taking the ability for the Dying Sun to grant an extra projectile. The only way to make up for that is to give up one of the badly needed jewel slots in the skill tree to put in a shitty cobalt jewel, meaning we would have to give up Life + Damage + Crit/Damage in the process. Next up they nerfed every single flask we use in the cheap or expensive version of the build, dramatically reducing our damage mitigation and DPS. No replacement for that. To keep piling on the pain, next up they nerfed the charge system, which pretty much reduces our DPS by about 30% and also reduces the rate at which we gain crit & DPS boost on top of how long we keep them - that one is particularly painful as it will leave us helpless in boss fights now that map bosses have x2 the amount of health up to T15 maps and Act 1-10 bosses have a whopping 4-5x times the health they previously did (Yes we know Barrage is the main boss skill for DPS, but when leveling and doing some map bosses, Barrage doesn't attack fast enough to out-leach the damage you take even when fully re-capped and have good armour/evasion, so you have to lure bosses against a surface or in a small room and then use KB to blast them down with the much faster explosive damage). As if all that wasn't enough pain though, the addition of Ebola to our AIDS cake was then added, with Kinetic Blast having it's explosive damage on first impact completely removed. There's a lot of builds that have been effected by these changes & obviously some builds and certain aspects of the game needed to be reigned in. But the people in GGG's balance team are completely and utterly useless. There's probably 2/3r'ds of all current builds from 2.6 now that wouldn't even be guardian viable any more, let alone end-game viable now. That wouldn't be an issue if there was new builds to be developed in a different way so as to keep that volume of diversity. But what's happened is they have just hammered everything across the board and entire character's & all their builds have been left almost unusable now. The team overall at GGG are really good at what they do, but it's borderline amazing at just how incomprehensibly terrible the balance team are at doing their job, implementing changes and taking on board any type of feedback from the community, let alone communicating it themselves. There are just sooooo many simple builds like this that never abused any mechanic, double-dipping, ES, chaos/poison or DOT exploits to run and do what they needed to do, that have now been nerfed for no good reason. I've had 6 out of my planned 7 character/build choices for this season nefed to a state now where they simply just can't be run effectively on a reasonable budget (or at all). None of them abused any part of the game that the dev's actually had any issue with, either. Instead it looks like I'll be going back to my first ever build choice from years ago, the boring old Maurauder Tank. I mean let's be honest, why would we now bother with any Pathfinder/Wander/Ranger, when you can do more damage, move faster, mitigate more damage & get more out of the ascendancy nodes with other builds - at 20 levels lower and with cheaper gear no less? I really wish this wasn't the case, but that's where these nerf's have left us now. I'd just like to take the chance to thank the build-maker, Ace. This was a really great idea for a 3.0 league starter before GGG ruined it. Thanks for the time and effort you put in to it for us all. Good luck on re-working it to a viable state for some low-level mapping in 3.0 at least, anyway, as I know you have mentioned several times now that this was your intended starter build for 3.0 - for what it's worth, prior to the nerfs, it was an amazing and cheap build for 2.6 that I sure wish I'd started that season with. I used this build for the 2-week Mayhem and Turmoil Leagues, getting my character to L90 in both of them with nothig other than the <10c gear purchases recommended and never even needed any of the gear or item upgrades from the generic version of the build to clear everything up to T15 map bosses. " PoB Under 1ex http://i.imgur.com/xB9Wmzt.png Barrage http://i.imgur.com/qTF5Ixq.png KB Dont know what more will change on the tree, maybe it is "ruined", maybe not, I will still start the league with this build. :) EDIT: From what D6vil stated in the comment below, dying sun didn't lose it's extra projectile. Which also makes me wonder how much you know and how much you actually read. I'll go ahead and say this build is fine for 3.0. Cya and glhf in 3.0!
