Labyrinth makes me want to hurt someone

This makes sense.

lockstep bascially locks you to server side ping. So when you have latency issues to the server you will stutter step and get freezes. You see each time you lag.

predictive FEELS better because you are not locked to ping inconsistency. You get a better play experience by feel...

The real deal is that with predictive, it might feel great...but you could be desyned with the server. So when you think you are around a corner you could be actually sitting on a trap server-side...so you would eventually rubberband back and die or just die "randomly". With lock step, you will get a less smooth experience, but you will know EXACTLY where the server sees your character.

Neither is really better for labyrinth, but for bad connections predictive will definitely "feel" better.

for anyone suffering stuttering etc - if possible drop WiFi and use a cable connection

wireless is - esp in big cities or in large houses - congested and weak. it can REALLY make a difference

playing games == using cable. it might not look cool nor be convenient but it solves a lot of stuttering

Ok so it probably isn't actuall fps but just hwo it works, as Prisus explained.

And +1 for cabled connection, it can make a significant difference.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
