Yes, big issue though is good luck getting a BLS in 3.0. It'll be nearly as rare as HH or even Skyforth.

Made a quick video displaying the clearspeed during breaches with Sunder on a 4L with 2x BLS. Look at the firestorm leech during Esh :)

Fun build, got to 85. Not going to bother 90 b/c I don't wanna get burned out before new league.

I've made some tweaks to the main post: 3.0 notes, some gear and tree updates, added a passive tree graphic, etc.

I really enjoy this build so far in 2 Week Turmoil. Maybe you can add The Cauterizer with Sunder as a level option. It can take you all the way up to the point where you have to gear yourself up in merciless respectively the new act number where you have to be rescapped and easily further.

Now my question in Path of Building: How much Balls DPS is the minimum per Ball where Shaper is killable? I've theorycrafted a variant to your build, which can achieve ~490k with all optimum gear (what is not that realistic to achieve). So what do you think is the bare minimum?

In 2.6, my personal rule of thumb for facetank builds is you need about 1m of true, sustainable DPS versus Shaper to reliably farm him (but expect a few deaths if you're not used to the fight). I did a lot of farming with around 300k PoB ball DPS versus Shaper. I would not try Shaper with less than 100k PoB and it gets a lot easier at around 200k. Right now on Standard, I have between 650k and 770k vs Shaper, depending on the build variant.

If you don't have enough DPS, the main risks you run are as follows.

• Not being able to outleech the damage. You can work around this by learning the mechanics, but being a Berserker makes it harder. Basically, learn when and where to hop.
• Not being able to protect Zana. You either want to let her die immediately or not die at all.
• Taking so long that the arena fills up with vortexes. This can be mitigated somewhat by clustering them up, but it makes the fight more complicated.
• Not being able to skip phases. The more phases you go through, the bigger the chance that a ball will chase you into Zana's bubble and that you get hit with lag making it hard to kite the ball or at least proc it at an edge.
• Losing flasks. This typically isn't a big deal, as long as you can make sure you take savage hits, but you'll definitely notice the lack of your Wise Oak penetration and lower defenses.

At this point, it looks very difficult since Torment isn't one of the Zana options. I suggest at least starting with another build and if somehow BLS do show up, run it with a second character.

hi, I'm pretty new to the game and I decided I'd go with your build and it's really great! having a slight problem with mobs that can do cold damage and freeze me. anything you can recommend for me to get around it?
