" I changed my gear in some time. I sold my old setup and bought new. My current setup would stay for magic find and i have some pieces for tanking. But if i were going maps and farming i would stay with magic find. Only thing i would change is hh belt. And maybe heretic's veil for curse effectiveness. I have to say that this build is quite a nice MF build. It's not the absolute best at anything and clearspeed wise you can find much better builds, especially since these days clear speed has more to do with moving speed and less with the actual dps output but for a combination of clear speed + stacking MF gear this must be one of the best.I tried going ham on IQ so anything on there is max on that stat.Walking around with 6.17k es but it feels relatively safe although there are deaths here and there since i like to run fully sextanted shaped courtyards with onslaught,beyond etc.The chest piece is something i can already replace for something with 850+ es but don't really need to although it would probably help in breaches which feel the most sketchy.
As for the usual boss questions, i used another char to complete those since i like to have different builds that are good for different stuff.Having tried them on this char i ve found that the lvl 21 gem or lvl 4 empower or even swapping to minion life gem will still get your golems killed at minotaur etc, so i would follow MrsDeaths_ advice for the defensive setup/smart gameplay on these occassions. I use this build for what i find is best for and that's MF mapping.I also found that the 5+1 golem setup feels better than 4+2 especially on open areas. P.S People don't recommend this as a starter build and i personally went into it dumping 15+ ex as an investment for something MF.Having said that,the leveling process for levels 41-80ish is amazingly fast with just the minimum entry requirement which is the weapons and th jewels.I just put 50% ms boots,tabula and run through the whole content not stopping at anything since early on golems are hilariously strong if you path for maximizing jewel slots as priority.It just took a weekend to take it to lvl 85 and the slower part was 1-41 where the double rockbiters kick in! 4+1+1 is 300k dps w/ 21/20 flame and 20/20 supports, going to 5+1 only reduces that to around 270k so yeah that's pretty good. Interestingly going all flame golems results in a much larger drop all the way down to 204k...
Edit: Starting to have doubts in PoB, socketing curse gems in Heretic's Veil instead of nothing somehow results in a dps loss of about 4k... Last edited by Gutterflower#5744 on Apr 22, 2017, 6:04:19 AM

" I am glad to see people having fun with this build. No matter whose setup mine or dyg's. I think its broken how this build is easily killing every boss w/o any effort. Talked dyg about it he thinks this build might not survive next league. I think the same way but we just gotta cross our fingers and hope for the best. " As i always saying do not think about numbers that much. Your golems can only hit at a limited dps. Only thing we can imrpove for our golems is their cast speed / skill cooldowns. If u keep those at most u ll have the best results. Trust your mind and strengthen your abilities!

I decided to do this as life works great I can keep div distillate up 100% of the time with a sapping flask and with the flask effect nodes near witch my legacy one gives me 28% iiq 75% iir.
At 91 I have 4k life with MoM but I only run 1 curse and manually cast phase run which lasts 3.15seconds with the 4second cooldown I'm pretty much perma phased when I dont want to be hit so ball lightning to curse then run around phased looting while my golems do the work. For harder maps like Vault/t15-16s I'll use Taste of hate when running anything else I use a silver flask for the extra move speed/attack speed for leap slam and fortify. After playing about in path of building I noticed I only lose 4k from gene+anger and haste gives around the same dps to my golems and we all get extra move/attack/cast speed and I dont have to worry about affecting party members EE. Currently running 128% iiq 286% iir. The chest was a bit annoying to recolor but everything else wasnt an issue. I like to run vaal lightning trap for bosses and breaches tossing a few around makes stuff go a lot faster. You can easily pick up the 2nd curse and drop leap slam fortify if that is your preference. Personally I can't stand walking so slowly when my QS is out of charges but 3 seconds of phasing doesn't make it terrible. If you aren't happy with 4k life you can give up the 20% ms and run a rare with life and res/dex or Starkokjas for life/dex and some evasion. I tested with a life chest/helm and belt I can easily hit over 6k my ventors life rolls are terrible too so thats a possible 50-90 more base life also. " Your cast when damage taken gem too high level and trigger stone golem from Clayshaper too. Use low level cwdt+phase run+ic. |
