[2.6] CI FrostBlades Raider/Pathfinder [Permafreeze T15 bosses, 4:17 Shaper Run, 1:49 Chayula timer]
New Bisco's run! Bought some new rings, so I decided to give Chayula a spin. Got very lucky with layout, no dead end platforms. Actually hit 1:52, but since my computer can barely run PoE well (look at that FPS!) I can only rely on my own reflexes to hit print screen. My gear:

I don't have any 2x Crit Multi jewels since I need the resistances badly. Last edited by waslo#1323 on May 17, 2017, 10:41:24 PM

" Blade flurry is physical and benefits from double dipping with poison/bleed. Frostblades does pure elemental damage and benefits from cold penetration instead of poison bleed for multiplier. As double dipping was supposed to be nerfed, Invalesco made a build that doesn't use double dipping and still has very good dps. However looking at today's manifesto about life vs ES, this build doesn't look so good for 3.0 anymore. Without proper leech, will be hard to do any end game content, will also be hard to keep decent ES pool without losing tons of dps in the tree. I don't think you can do good life characters on the north east part of the tree. Best scenario this build can be tweaked by going more south of the tree, worst scenario marauder/templar/duelist are the new op classes and this build is dead for endgame. " Wow that timing! I give up, you win haha " Just read the manifesto, it looks interesting! Let's wait and see how beta goes. I suspect the game will end up becoming more balanced with lower ES values translating to lower Monster damage. Either way, it looks like it'll be a return to path of life. I'll edit the build/tree accordingly. On the bright side, the ideal colours will be easier to achieve! Build of the Week 14

What do you think of Phase Run?
It's (20-30)% more Melee Physical Damage |

" https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1848749/page/1 I used this build before switching to CI. It's dirt cheap (under 100c?) and its damage is equal to or higher than Invalesco's build. Drawback is the ~5k life pool. Last edited by Harpoontang#5651 on May 19, 2017, 11:34:09 AM

Seems way too low of an hp pool for endgame bosses.
Not too motivated by grinding strands or the equivalent in 3.0 if that's the limit. I think i'll try to do a boss character to change a bit. Not gonna work with 5.2k life. I'm not the best at dodging for 10mn in a row. Can't wait to see the complete patch notes but so far i'm more inclined to play a beefy marauder/duelist, a guardian or maybe an occultist. Just fears it's gonna be slow as fuck after this character. |

" Oh ya, most definitely not a fun boss killer with 5k life lol. That's why I'm here now :P |

Can you take a look at my character and tell me some pointers?
my dps even with abyssus seems lacking in t14 i know i need alot of upgrades but can you tell me what should i focus on first? since i dont have a big budget all in all thanks for the build, pretty fun! |

" You should re-spec a bit (looking @ some of the +stat nodes) and take the flask nodes which will give you 30% incr. effect plus having your flasks up all the time. Amulet looks like it can benefit from an upgrade - you can keep an eye out for something ~45c if you're lucky: http://poe.trade/search/homoyarihumoni For the belt, if not going for a crystal belt, aim for >70 strength plus a WED or flask mod - I was lucky in picking this up for <10c Try playing around with the trade filters, you should be able to snag something decent for <40c: http://poe.trade/search/toyaronyemetak Not sure how you're currently dealing w/ stun-lock as replacing a ring with valyrium would force you to find resists elsewhere to cap. All right, after fumbling my first Shaper attempt, I bombed on the end of the fight and couldn't kill him. Not the build's fault...my fault for making very silly mistakes. Also didn't help the Shaper and his clone hugged a corner for a while and I couldn't get near them.
Got another set of fragments and tried again...only died once because I thought Shaper was starting with a beam and he did the multi-ball attack. After that, got through the fight and made more liberal use of my flasks and the like, and got him down without too much trouble. And my reward for my efforts... Can't complain at all. :D |
