Developer Questions and Answers

What is going to happen in Standard with regards to past leagues? Right now, we can't get any league specific items any more since Zana was changed. Is this how it will stay, and we will only get them through divination cards, or will there be something different?
Are there any plans to improve the stash and stash tabs, because having 50 is inconvenient.
do any of you play other "diablo clones" such as grim dawn or diablo 3 either out of enjoyment or out of "knowing thy enemy" standpoint?

How many workers beet shaper with their own bulid?

I'm a "new player", tried to play it sometimes before but the game was not in the good state it is today.

However, while you already made me quit D3 and buy things in your game (addicting as crack btw) I have a question:

Will POE someday have a kind of "adventure mode" like D3?

I really hate ARPGs story and quests. I just wanna kill things, look at item drops and level as I want. D3 gave me that, only good feature in that game tbh.

I'm on Mercilles now and I don't know absolutely anything about what PoE story is about, I also hate all NPC's I met because they gave me quests I don't care about. I wish I could just have challenges when I start new Chars, I really don't enjoy the quests.

I will not ask about Lab because reddit is already full of haters of that thing, I think you already now.

I wish I could invite my friends to play and not hear things like: "dude I don't wanna keep repeating quests over and over". Yes, me neither.
Has there ever been talk about differentiating block and dodge more? For example, if blocks only mitigated 50% of a hit's damage instead of totally negating it then it might open up more interesting ways to use block.

Something totally different: Have you guys ever made or seen PoE-inspired food or drink recipes? If so, and you've tried them, which ones did you like the best?
Is the Radiant Armor Set ever going to go on sale again? I've been wanting to buy it since Essence League.

For a slightly more serious question:

With the recent SSF support, is there ever going to be a mode with boosted droprates for people who don't want to trade? The only reason I don't play SSF is because I hate the scarcity of 5/6 links, uniques, and currency more than I hate having to trade for every single gear piece past level 60. (I also enjoy partying with friends occasionally)

Why are you withholding the option to create a Custom League with player's own set of modes?
Ideas for new uniques:

1. Item adds a flask slot
2. Item adds a skill slot
3. Grants skill (or just an ID skill gem) that identifies everything in inventory upon use

Can you enable the use of flasks in town?
Oy, why do you guys think low-interaction trading would be bad? And how would instantaneous trading lead to players purchasing more of their gear instead of finding/crafting it? Players already plan on buying almost all of their endgame gear, so how do you believe this would be exaggerated? And why do you believe this would be a problem at all? I get the feeling you mostly believe it's a problem because it would take new players out of crafting, but couldn't that easily be solved with, say, a 10-minute delay on trades? What other problems have stopped you from introducing instantaneous trading?
