64bit client crashing
" Thanks for this information. How can we tell if a crash report was generated? Is it stored locally somewhere? And when is it sent? At the time of the crash, or the next time the game is launched? |
|
my game keeps crashing since 2.6 patch is out to the point i just gave up on PoE untill it's fixed. this is literally unplayable, cant trade, cant map all because of that crash

Something I was wondering just today was if the users still seeing these crashes were AMD users. (you know...since no one is posting any actual information)
Just a thought since they do actually multithread differently. | |
" The lack of information is a real issue and should be addressed. Maybe GGG should create a template that people need to complete when posting, something that provides some system detail, crash reports etc. Perhaps they could even collect better, more useful data, in the client log files. Still, even a mandatory DXDiag would help. With regard to AMD only, Looking back through posts here and reddit, there are people reporting the same issues with Nvidia/Intel and also, if it makes any difference, the Steam Clients. |
|
" It is automatically generated and sent after you restart your client. GGG has never said what the name of the file is so no idea if it's stored locally. Rest assured though, it does get sent. I spend a lot of time in the bug forum and there have been patches for crashes/bugs that have never been reported.
