But if they remove it from mjollnir, lightning spells can be balanced differently again and so can mjollnir in it's entirety.

but i dont understand why? just because it piss some people ,because they just dont like Discharge or hate it and even Breaches couse more server lags as discharge and GGG will make breaches as come mechanic. GGG should let Discharge be vor both self cast and trigger but introduce some new unique threshold jewels for self cast discharge only for some better charges generation ,increased damage and AOE something lake that "your charges generation is doubled if you have 50 inteligence in radius" description - Dischagre cannot be triggered if you put this jewel in jewel slot on your skill tree.

Discharge does obscene amounts of damage because it was never implemented into the game with full
auto-charge generation and triggers in mind.

And since this one skill can be utilized with mjollnir, all other lightning skills cannot compete in a mjollnir build, which most likely was never the intention behind mjollnir as a design.

If anything, arc and storm call fit the flavor of mjollnir a lot more, but yeah can't compete with discharge so why go that route?

why not combine both? many mjolner build comnibe arc with discharge or ball lighting for better charge generation not any lighting skill should be good for mjolnir like GGG self said not every skill should be good.

did you think GGG make that move ,they dont make not a single unique in POE history with such huge damage multiplier
I don't think they would give it 150% more damage. But that's what it would need to get back to the usable level of damage it had in 2.4, if the CD is still going to be 0.25s.

Correct; my mistake. Shows why the item is and will continue to be vendor trash, when it would need a 150% more multiplier to power just T2 builds.
