Three unique weapons being updated for 2.6.0

Thanks for giving Mjolner some love this is one from two builds that keep me playing this game ,thanks GGG

The 2.6 change alone, without a change to the internal cooldown, is not enough to bring Mjolner out of that bad place.
Mjolner lost 60% of its DPS and healing in 2.5. GGG would have to add a 150% MORE spell damage modifier (and probably rebuff juggernaut) to get it back to the barely usuable position it was in 2.4 (IMO which was OK), if the 1/4s CD remains.

As Anu and others have said, you can selfcast spells faster, with more damage, than Mjolner can trigger them with less investment on the skilltree and in other gear pieces.

Other issue is that the only lightning skill that is even viable on Mjolner is Discharge.

TL;DR Mjolner will still be vendor trash in 2.6 UNLESS they are changing the ICD back into the region of 0.1s and haven't told us.

For fuck's sake, finally!

Now they'll be able to set cooldowns to what is needed to have a working Ball Lightning CoC, Spark, Freezing pulse, or whatever you like.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

This is only about a 25% damage increase for my Mjolner build (Rainbownuke) which was one of the highest DPS Mjolner builds possible and which is not viable in 2.5 because it can't do enough damage.

Meaningless. It needed a flat 60% more multiplier to make up for the 60% less multiplier nerf from cooldown change.

Will not be a viable endgame item.

Actually if GGG make Discharge self cast only this will be another huge indirect Mjolner nerf because you can cast all lighting spells faster + 6L vs Mjolner with this cooldown and 3L only.
