I hope i'm part of the silent majority...
I want to love the lab, but for some reason it is too hard for me past cruel :/

" Plz most of my friends (including me) are doing normal lab at 30lvl at cruel lab at 50-55, even with league starter eq (so no 6L tabula etc). Normal and Cruel izaro is so easy you can facetank him as armor-based character or just melt him as caster/archer... |

Love the lab. It's one of my favorite areas in game. The mechanics are thematic appropriate the voice acting top notch and it has great atmosphere.

You are, I hate labyrinth. It's inclusion must of been a headache to design and it's just tedious. It's not really a challenge... it's a Jrpg not super Mario.

Hate it or love it, minority or majority, one thing is now certain and undeniable:
You are no longer silent. |

I don't like the lab... it actually makes me less inclined to start new characters. It's really a different mechanism for me though. I'm a diehard HC player. I even play minecraft HC. But the futility of trying to learn a boss with random effects that can kill what ever character you try to throw at it was too much for me to enjoy HC play. A week or two of play just to get to the point where you could try again was too much.
I'll be giving HC a rebirth in 3.0. Maybe it will work again. Maybe not. The lab made the game difficulty too spikey and unpredictable for me. Last edited by Shagsbeard#3964 on Feb 25, 2017, 10:26:47 AM

" Some of us have said screw the labyrinth/trials nonsense and continue on playing SSF HC without going into that crap-fest. In all likelihood, 3.0 will be non-survivable without taking the extra power & defense the ascendancy points provide (power creep). 2.6 might be the last hurrah for folks who don't like forced frogger. Something to consider. |

"That's just a certain poster who claims he's merely keeping a record of all the people who don't like the lab. I guess his list is even more BS than I thought (and I thought it was pretty BS before). Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>

" The frogger part is fine with me. It's the "ha ha... you just wasted two weeks and don't even understand why! What's more, none of what you learned from this will apply next time around too!" part that kills it for me. Last edited by Shagsbeard#3964 on Feb 25, 2017, 1:12:07 PM

" The list that I initially made included anyone who was in support of changing the Labyrinth in some way (like, wanting less traps, or shorter gauntlets, or alternative ascendancy methods). I did not make a list of "Lab haters". If you were on my initial list, it may include people who have since changed their minds, or "like" the Labyrinth, but want only want small changes. The list has been continued by Turtledove, only adding in people who have expressed their dislike of the Labyrinth, though posts against the labyrinth have been more negative in recent months.(almost everyone added by Turtledove has had their post quoted as to why they were added). The list was recently used by someone in an effort to rally people who wanted change to voice their views either on reddit and youtube or even here, so it did reach its intended audience, but also caught the attention of a few people who don't want to voice a negative opinion of the labyrinth or may not want change anymore. Anyway, that's why some people's names were on the list, and may not know why. [Edit: So, if you want to blame someone, blame me for your name being on that list, not Turtledove.] Last edited by Zaludoz#6325 on Feb 25, 2017, 3:31:33 PM
