Both Trump and HRC were morally bankrupt. There was no scenario that led to a non-bankrupt presidency after the primaries were over. Hence the <50% approval on both sides.

If you find yourself actually fawning over HRC and regretting her loss, then you are in the minority of Americans by all polling data. Same thing with actually liking Trump.

Stocks being up and ISIS being on the run is an objectively good thing. Sorry that America isn't falling apart like you wish it was, I guess.

The electoral college is a great thing, otherwise Commiefornia alone would decide every election.

Also, I think that when emails show one unpopular candidate conspired with media outlets to give the second candidate positive coverage up until nomination with the intent of creating a deliberately weak strawman opponent in the general, I tend to blame said bankruptcy solely on the first of the two candidates. I mean, I get that the GOP field had to be somewhat weak for such a plan to work, but still... Trump is just punishment for the sin of putting our collective faith in Hillary Clinton, when we really should have known better.

Republicans and Democrats alike should thank God every day she didn't win, and the Dems should hate Bernie for cucking out after he got cheated. The only rational disagreement between partisans here should be whether Bernie getting cheated was a terrible tragedy, or a criminal saving the timeline.

There's a large conceptual gap among leftists. They don't see where the philosophy that guides most of their lives has anything to do with their behavior. They strongly fear being judged by others. That's not true. California would only get the 12ish% of the vote that it deserves (I think it's like 10% now or something. not a huge difference) and it would not go 100% democrat every time like it does now.

If we went by popular vote instead of electoral college a lot of solidly blue or solidly red states would become a heck of a lot more purple, and the current swing states would have much less impact on presidential elections. I'd be okay with changing the rules, providing it isn't in the middle of the game.

One of the known patterns used by abusers is to isolate the person being abused. They don't want them seeking out information from others, or communicating. It is part of their habit of establishing control over the victim.

It is the left that is trying to silence any alternative sources of news. It is the left that is trying to ban free speech. It is the left that is trying to rewrite search algorithms and hiring people to try to prevent unapproved communications.

Belittling others and destroying their self-esteem is also part of the pattern of abuse, but that behavior isn't exclusive to abusers, and they almost always (I've yet to hear of any excceptions, but they may exist)isolate the victim.

That isolation extends to abusers being willing to kill the victim rather than let them go free or explain to others (especially authorities)what is happening. Strong isolation alone is reasonable grounds for bringing the police in. It may sounds odd, but many victims have been saved this way.

The difference is we already know the names of those about to be raptured by the legal system. They are about a month behind where I thought they would be at this time. Gauging SCOTUS' support of the MAGA agenda is probably delaying which approach to begin the swamp draining. Without SCOTUS, President Trump will likely need to rally the public support first, so each person being whisked up by Unavoidable FOIA Offensives will be abandoned by the democrats so as not to taint themselves in the public eye. After several well publicized cases are underway, the flood gates will open.
