Casual times on consoles are over, there are as much nolifers playing mmorpg on console as on pc.

But the game is free? Why would they ask console players to pay if it is free on PC? I don't see them mentioning a price anywhere.

No. Chris stated specifically that the PC version will not be getting controller support. GGG is keeping the two clients separate.

Agreed - but surely GGG must know this? I doubt they made this decision to create a console port on a whim. A cynic would say they're trying to greatly expand the playerbase (initial xbox release) - which would also bring a nice, albeit short-term, increase in profits. Then, when things are at their apex, sell the company before the investors realize it's all smoke and mirrors...

Rofling so hard here at all the "hardcore" PC players that have their panties in a bunch because the casual console potatoes are getting their beloved game after they spent dozens of dollars on stash tabs.

It seems to me that everyone saying that the Xbox One move is a bad thing is thinking using the logic of a gaming community where Xbox users make a more demanding market and that it's difficult to optimize for that console etc... As a Brazilian I feel that these are issues of the American community. Everyone in the Brazilian PoE groups I participate are super happy with these news and we are a very different but still large market. Not only Americans play this game anyway.

On console there are mainly casual players, exceptions are not the rule.
- Have you play Thief 1 and 2 ? Do you remember how shit was thief 3 came out both on xbox and pc ? And how is thief 4 ?
- Have you play the first deus ex ? What about Human Revolution ?
- Diablo 3 was planed from the beginning for PC and console. You saw the result, right ?
- There are a lot of other exemples

But there are always people to be blind and refuse to admit the evidence. The console players are like consumers for developers. Not gamers.
