In this league I think they are quite similar in their damage output (unless you manage to get a +1 shavs then the UiD will probably be the best one atm). This will probably change for the next league however, as with the removal of double dipping we will not get the "double dip dmg" from increased minion damage and poison.

The belt i was looking for 2-3 days with my price limit to 2ex, got it for 1ex with live search :) I think its good deal..

1ex for that belt is truly a bargain considering that I sold a white one for 34c not that many days ago ;)

I just acquired a 5-link shavs, where do I go from here? I'm thinking of getting Severed in Sleep but I lose a lot of es. What are my gear priorities?

For big upggrade i would say this order: Shavs 5L > Chayula amulet upgrade > Shav ring > Severed in sleep > Crystal belt > United in dream.
As for smaller upgrades i would upgrade both rings for more resists, this allow you to drop resists from gloves and get more pure es there. Belt more resists too. Sword close to 50% es.

On topic: someone tried already IIQ gem? Price are skyrocketing and wondering if its worth to go with IIQ+IIR gem, or only IIQ gem as 6th link.. Or better ventor+shav ring for little boost and thats it? Got some currency and would like to make it more Rarity/Quantity direction..

Its for chayula cutlass, also united in dream, it gives 15lvl envy aura (chaos dmg), and with generosity it provides dmg to minions/party members. We are leveling it for future (if you dont have that weapon yet.), it have nothing to do with movement skill.

Edit: Was another great night - this league has just been amazing to me, I have 0 complaints. I 6linked my shavs in <200 fusings - very happy about that. I finally did uber lab (got caught up in finishing tree didn't realize my level!) and I opted to take the chaos resist node. I actually feel this is the best node to take instead of both minion damage minor nodes. The reason behind this is on very heavy hitting aoe bosses, they destroy 95% of your SRS before they can even hit the boss, but now they drop toxic clouds all over the place. I've noticed in some T13-15 bosses that used to take forever are now dying very quickly due to this. I'm very happy I decided to take that node instead.

Also I was thinking once I finalize sockets, I might use my last few points to go here then use another energy from within conversion jewel - i'm just not sure if it would be a good option or if I should just dump the points in the other ES paths we're already crossing. What are your thoughts? If we do the socket below, we could get the major node and 3-4 minor nodes around it north in the scion life nodes. Not sure if its the better option.

Also if this working right http://poedb.tw/us/passive-skill-tree/ you gonna reach just 2 minor nodes for 5% life + from jewel max 6%, in total 16% for 3 skill points = 16/3=5.333%, also not worth. Better 6% es nodes where we already took. I've checked your tree and i think that Essence Surge cluster and 1 int node on way to that not worth when you have shav's ring already. I took it only for extra survivability when i reached 93 lvl.. I would personally respec those 4 nodes and take 2 jewel nodes + 2 es% 6% nodes. On jewels simply minion damage + es% and you get somewhere 6+6+2x jewels (lets say 6-8% on each), also 24% es more.. Thats a bit offtopic from what you asked, but i think its better than Essence Surge. Essence Surge just as Thread author recommended at higher levels to have some extra safety at high end content.

Ah ok, I "finger measured" it and thought it would encompass the major + 4 minor nodes but if not then yeah definitely not worth the investment. I'm up in the air on the essence surge though, I do find that my survival is better with those nodes but it could just be placebo effect. I'm RIGHT under 9k ES right now and know I can get over 10k if I got the GG ES items for my boots/gloves and kept working on my helmet but I need to farm much more currency first - drained the coffers getting what I have currently.

Any 2nd thoughts on it anyone?

I also wanted to put my input on glove enchantments. I got commandment of reflection on my gloves two days ago and have to say that it is really amazing. There was a few times where I was very close to death and this proc'd. I swear your reflection "taunts" because every time it goes off whatever is wailing on me immediately focuses on it instead. Like RIGHT away. This has been immense to my survival thus far. Thought it worth mentioning.

edit: wow that guy got 6l on 1260 and thats an acceptable amount? never made my own 6l just bought them in the past, what do you guys usually do and how much does it usually cost you?

1500 fuses from the Vorci bench. This is somewhat above average but I've been burnt too many times spending over that trying to 6 link so now I just use the bench or buy someone elses for the guarantee
