[3.1] SRS LL Auramancer in-depth guide

Would this still be a viable build in 3.2?

Short answer: It is viable, but I'd probably not use it as a starter.

I recently played some PoB to see what I could do to update the build. The main issue ever since the ES nerfs has been to get a comfortable level of ES to play with, which is still the case. I played the +3 bow version in 3.0. and it did work pretty well with its 7K es, but i wasn't fond of the running & blinking instead of shield charging.

The combo of Lycosidae and Necromantic Aegis that has gained popularity lately is probably the biggest dps increase you can do for the 1h+shield setup, so I've included it in the two PoB links below as it gives a huge buff to dmg.

https://pastebin.com/hgqs4aax BM based 6k ES ~1.7m dps / 6.4k ES & ~1.54m dps with rare gloves.
https://pastebin.com/StdYv0vv Mana based 7.4k ES ~1.4m dps (even more expensive)

The mana based setup is something that I'll most likely try out in 3.2. As it is mana based you won't interrupt your ES recharge when Vaal Clarity is down, which should be a fairly nice defensive boost. That in addition to that you don't need to path down to the bottom of the tree gives you additional points to spend in ES. The big drawback here is that you're required to get quite a few extra items that all are expensive.

Heya,

just wanted to say thanks for the build and thanks for the awesome and fun time i had playing it.

I kinda swapped some stuff around - not using zombies but alphas and some auras innit.

Now, with the abyss jewels, i wonder if its worth dropping alphas and rearranging the auras to make use of the taunt/ blind jewels for zombies. id lose cwdt-ic but could use zombies+fort/minion life/culling - whatever turns out to be best.

am i right assuming that the abyss taunt jewels wont affect the srs since it says "minions cannot taunt enemies" ?

anyway, thanks in advance

ps: my build/gear - farming for united in dream so i couldnt test if i can fit in envy on generosity.

why did u choose the skeleton ascendancy nodes? doesnt it make more sense going with puppet master since u are going to be using minion skills ... like.. constantly - casting srs?

Hi! I'm glad to see that you've enjoyed the build!

You're correct in that SRS can't taunt enemies even if you use the abyssal jewels, while Zombies should be able to do it. If you're able to get room for zombies with blind & taunt it'll increase your survivability by a good amount. During map clearing cwdt+ic might be stronger to prevent those accidental deaths (running into a wall of projectiles etc.), but as long as the zombies can stay alive they should be good for tougher enemies.

You can see in PoB if you've enough mana/life for your auras. Check out your "Unreserved Life" and (when you don't have BM) "Unreserved Mana". You can also use https://poe.mikelat.com/ to get a better overview of your options.

The PoB trees was made with the 3.1. skill tree, and when PoB converted it for 3.2. it automatically selected the skelly node.

Hi, I liked the build and used it with bow and quiver.
How long do you think you can upgrade your build to 3.2?

P.S.
Summon Raging Spirit is considered Skeleton or Spirit?

Ok, and when will you upgrade the guide?

99% of the guide is still valid, just pick Puppet Master -> Invoker for merci/uber lab.

I'll see about doing a proper update after I've played with the mana setup.
