[3.1] SRS LL Auramancer in-depth guide
" A while ago I was looking into using another ascendancy in PoB and the results were underwhelming. If I recall right you'll get about 40% less damage if you choose another ascendancy, which in my opinion is too much of a loss to even consider it. Builds:

3.3 new?

" I'm afraid that I won't be updating the guide in the foreseeable future. Builds:

" Is this still possible in 3.3? I really want to try it out |
|
" Even if it's not close to what it was pre ES and poison nerfs it's still a solid build. I'd say that the strongest reason to play it now would be if you want to play a support character that still can map pretty well by itself. Last league I played around with the mana-based setup and came up with this char: https://pastebin.com/sasFVXDV . With the items available this league I'd probably replace The Scourge with a rare weapon and try to get the -1% mana reserved corruption on all jewels. The mana setup is probably the stronger choice for single play, as you don't need to worry about casting interrupting your ES recharge, and the BM setup is a better support as it has more and stronger auras. Thanks for the reply, I play in a group with two other friends so the buffs are what I'm really interested in without being a useless bot that loots. I'm definitely going to give it a go now. I'm going to save that other build you just pasted too. Thanks a lot for your nice guide and I wish you the best this league!

For those of you who enjoyed this guide and are still following this thread. I recently posted a build guide for the new Herald of Agony skill; a build that I was able to kill Über Elder with just the other day.
[3.4] Tahreyn's 83/83 Block Herald of Agony Gladiator - Über Elder Viable Builds:

" really interesting concept Tahreyn, thanks for posting. Also, is Auramancer Summoner officialy dead? Do you think it would be possible to revive it in 3.4 or 3.5 as Ascendant or Guardian? |

" The HoAg build is vastly different from this one, but I hope you'll enjoy it none the less! The SRS auramancer build is still a good build, but not where close to where it was before nerfs. I would warmly recommend it to anyone that primarily is going to play a supporting role for his or her group, but still wants to be able to go mapping in between group play. What I find hard when trying to create a new type of auramancer is to get enough ES, you almost have to go either Guardian or Occultist today to get a comfortable 8k+ ES without gg gear. Once the 8k+ ES goal is reached it is even harder to get the damage and clear speed that makes the build fun to play. I'll continue to experiment every now and then with various concepts in PoB and if I find a new one that I really like then I'll most likely create another guide for it :) Builds:
