[2.6] CI HoWA ST - Uber / Shaper / Guardians Down - Budget Friendly?

I'm about to test and see if Dyadus is viable middle-man between HoTM and HoWA, based on suggestions a page or 2 back. (My character is 68, prepping to swap to CI)

To people asking for updated trees, the old 2.5 tree links still function, even if they miss out on the Elemental Dmg node upgrades... and the people in the last few pages have some good test trees from their experience 70+

I wouldn't expect an "official" update on this build anytime soon... Voidspasm/TheVoidCreature hasn't posted to this thread or the forums since December... he hasn't editted the build post since early January... and he hasn't made any characters in Legacy League... I also can't tell when he last ran his twitch, but the last saved video is January 23rd

I tried Dyadus... at best, it cuts even with HoTM...

With 667 Int and otherwise starter gear with about 100% WED on rings/belt, my HoTM tooltip is 5800 in town...

Equipping Dyadus (which seemed like an upgrade on paper) dropped that to 4200dps... swapping in generic dmg/as% jewels for my Fertile Minds and a Lightning dmg jewel got Dyadus up to 5500... still not the upgrade I hoped/expected... (others without Astramentis might have different results... I picked it up before HoWA to use while leveling)

At least HoTM is killing things quite well already... in the field, my 4L already wasn't slacking... with LMP still in, and totem/golem + sulphur/silver + vaal haste and 5 frenzy charges (only done 2 labs so far), I can already hit 18.5k buffed dps... going to swap into a 5L Vaal Regalia and spec CI soon and add Atziri's Promise... my resistances wont benefit from Wise Oak atm sadly... need to save up for Vinktar and HoWA

Here is another one which is double the attack speed and has 40% flask charges gained + 20% flask duration.

Int: 1183 Str: 114 Dex: 210
ES: 13012 DPS: 30100 Accuracy: 82%

Tree #1: Buffed with lvl 20 Wrath / lvl 20 Discipline / lvl 20 Lightning Golem in hide out
ES: 14938 DPS: 35575 Attack Speed: 141% Attacks Per Second: 3.86

Tree #3: Unbuffed in hide out (didn't change cruel bandit to attack speed though)
Int: 1110 Str: 114 Dex: 246
ES: 11765 DPS: 35045 Accuracy: 84%

Tree #3: Buffed with lvl 20 Wrath / lvl 20 Discipline / lvl 20 Lightning Golem in hide out
Int: 1110 Str: 114 Dex: 246
ES: 13507 DPS: 39828 Attack Speed: 175% Attacks Per Second: 4.41

Tree #4: Unbuffed in hide out (didn't change cruel bandit to attack speed though)

ES: 10741 DPS: 37566 Accuracy: 84%

Missing some nodes as I am level 97 and my jewels aren't great but this is a rough glimpse of the potential of these trees and there it is for you guys to decide which one. (BTW I think the projectile speed node is better near art of the gladiator personally even though it doesn't effect tool tip dps)

TLDR 20% more es 20% less dps in tree #1 20% more dps 20% less es in tree #4. (tested with GMP->Ele Focus->Light Pen->WED->Added Light DMG)

2 quick points:

1) Any time you head down to the Jewel socket between Witch and Shadow, and take Deep Wisdom, you can save a skill point by taking the 10 int and 10 dex node down there instead of the 3 int nodes above

2) once I reached 90+ and leveling slowed down last league, I found it useful to spec into and out of the 30 DEX nodes between shadow/witch and duelist/marauder until I could afford whatever my new dps cluster goal was in 2-3 levels... granted, I never had as high an ES as Marty, but I made do with about 9k ES and 60k hideout dps

and that made me think it would be a good chest for an HoWA build, so I started to look for a guide and here I am ! What do you think of it ? Does it make sense to use it (and spend a bit of currency on it for 5l/6l it) or at the end, I would just do better with a classic high ES body armour ?

If you decide to use that chest it will be easier to colour, it's up to you.
You need to dual wield HoWA for the weapon affixes, cant use an ES shield.

how do I dmg with ST ? ^^
i lvled with frostblades
iam lvl 73, 5 link, 2normal hands

unbuffed my frostblades deal 13k dmg and ST 4,5k
wtf ?

1. do you have HoWas? If not - that's why
2. tooltip dmg of ST is lower than some skills, but it hits a mob multiple times

edit: mine goes to 150~200k selfbuffed and spikes to almost 500k with my friends aurabot (without vaal haste). not playing this build tho, since it's obviously using the 2.5 tree

I ment high ES chest, not shield, sorry for the confusion -__-

Was not sure, that this item was better than a regular 800+ ES shields with some INT on it !
