[2.5] CI/LL Blight CwC Poison Vortex over 2M DPS Trivialize all content [Tri-Curse/HC Viable]

shit! I was really looking forward to playing this build for Legacy league.

would duel wield pyre work instead of loosing void manip?
IGN - @SlutOhMyy (Ambush)
I was interested in playing this build next league, it looks fun and Vortex is my favorite skill. But GGG hates me and doesnt want me to have fun.

Is there any point playing this still? If so whats the most efficient way to convert to fire now?

1x pyre in 2.6 is a 32% damage loss over 2.5 variant.

2x pyre in 2.6 is a 19% damage loss over 2.5 variant.

I know this because I was also going to use a build similar to this and now I'm not. RIP.

Pyre is 40%, you can get 50% from swapping out void manipulation for cold to fire support for a total of 90. This will be a 32% damage loss over running a single 2.5 pyre with void manipulation.

Alternatively, you can run 2x 40% pyres and keep void manipulation for a loss of 19% damage from 2.5 version.

Combine this with the fact that you need a shavs for it to shine due to pain attunement's value, I'm going to be doing something different for legacy, but this does look like a fun build that will work at 80% efficiency of last league.
i think dmg loss is not that big on a build that does 2 000 000 dps

It's the area change that hurts it the most.

That being said, I lied and I'm still planning a Vortex build for next league. It doesn't rely on Vortex for trash clear so the area change doesn't matter as much. Although, the Pyre nerf hurts a lot because I have to sacrifice a gem slot for CtF now and it's only 90% conversion... It's similarly meant to be a super tank with high DoT damage abusing Vortex double dipping, but I'm still trying to design it. I ran a variation of it previously but this one is using some of the newly buffed uniques.

Are you going to use this thread or start a new one? Because I'm really interested in doing this for the league (provided it isn't too laggy for my poor machine), but am pretty bad at theorycrafting.
In breach I was reading some of the suggestions and the one I took was using Hypothermia over Void Manipulation. I will definitely be running this build for Legacy again as it was amazing and vastly OP with the damage. I think that overall that damage loss will not be very noticeable, honestly. Dual Pyres may be an option. Some toying around will be in play here, ha ha. And thanks for your build by the way, It was the most progress I've ever made in a league and I started it very late after failing with a few others.
keep us updated looking forward to try this in legacy league again :D
It will still be good im sure. Not as good.. but it was REALLY good before. At least most if not all of the defensive layers are still there. Im doing this on HC.
